About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Great spot with an outstanding restaurant
Even though it’s relatively short it’s a nice track and very conducive to couples golf. Nice staff and wonderful food at the restaurant. A great “first round “ if you’re visiting from the North!
Great dat to play golf
All Was like I thought it would be. the green was perfect.
Had a great time, did not play well but I did enjoy it.
Best value for the golf dollar in Orlando. Course is in excellent shape. Greens are fast

A golfing experience
Wow , first time at this historical gem and it didn’t disappoint… incredible staff, pro shop, and gps equipped carts. The course offers different challenges at every hole and is beautifully maintained. Looking to get back soon having experienced it.
Always enjoy playing Dubsdread golf course when we are in the area. Course was not quite in its usual condition due to odd weather patterns this year, but it was very playable. Would definitely recommend.
Another good round!
A classic course, with very good staff, goes to create a classy experience. Good conditions (even the bunkers) and very good greens means a round that really reflects your ability. I’d love to play this more often, and it will be on my next vacation itinerary. Thanks!
Very Enjoyable Round
We enjoyed our day at Dubsdread from our our great experience with Herman at the pro shop to our round of golf and a great meal afterward. The course was in good condition and the greens ran true and were quick but fair.
A Really Great Old Course
This course is celebrating it's 100th anniversary. It had an upgrading in 2018. The tees, fairways and greens are all in great shape for the time of year. The greens are difficult due to the subtle undulations...many of which you can't see, even though you think you can. All 4 of us "just missed" many of our second putts. Pace was great and bar cart was around 3 or 4 times.
Unforeseen trouble
If this is first time playing, you can get into trouble. Not knowing some of the distances I got into some trouble with unforeseen water hazards, bunkers unexpectedly coming into play and drive direction and length resulting in blocked out second shots. Some holes were tight driving. Looking forward to playing again now that I have some knowledge. Greens were in pretty decent shape. Fairways were thin in places but for February probably normal. Did enjoy though and will play again.
Great Staff but other options available
Staff was super friendly and great. The greens roll pure and are in great shape and a little firm. Rough and fairways are decent but there are other options around for the same price with better conditions tee to green.

Dubsdread is the pride and joy of Orlando
This course is pristine as always, love playing here, the only downfall is a bit of over booking, we had to wait to play all day on a Saturday. Dubsdread is near and dear to my heart and the Taproom is a spectacular restaurant
Lady friendly course
Very friendly staff. Nice, well equipped pro shop.
Course in good condition. Lady friendly course. Fairway distances perfect for beginner- intermediate player.
