About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Get what you pay for!
Course was in very rough shape even though when checking in we were told how the course was in such great shape. Pace of play was slow. Had a group of seven in front of us and it took to about hole 8 for the ranger to separate them. Didn’t matter the 3 in front would wait for the 4 behind and continue the back up. I would not worry about gators in the water hazards there was enough garbage in the water to poison them. The beverage cart attendant was probably the best of the course. Very attentive and made us aware of the pace ahead as well as her rounds. There is reason why the rate is half the price of other area courses. Should be 1/4 the price based on the conditions.
Great day at Dubsdread
I set up this course for the last day of a six day golf trip and wow what a gem. The staff inside the pro shop might be the most engaging I’ve ever experienced and the starter got us out promptly with some advice for newcomers. I am a fan of older courses with a lot of history and DD has it. The course was in great shape, especially the greens and all of the holes are unique. We played the blue tees and the course was a full test of my bag. We will definitely be back.

I miss placed my 6 iron. I called the Pro Shop, located it and brought it out to me within 20 minutes. Great customer care!!!
I’ve not been thrilled about the resident/ nonresident pricing that started a couple of years after I discovered and began to play the course. It caused me not to even consider DubsDread for 1 or 2 years This year I’ve been able to purchase “Deal Times” which enables me to play at what I feel is a reasonable rate.

Always a fun course to play…tight in spots and not too long from any tee box. Staff is friendly and always treat you well. Their pub has amazing food and drinks…partial to the burgers with truffle fries 😁.
Great little Gem !
Course was in great shape, people in pro shop are the best, so kind & so friendly, we did it 3 1/2 hours. Highly recommend.
Nice Little Course
We played at courses around the area over MLK Weekend. Our flight was supposed to get in early on Thrsday, so we decided to play a round before checking in. We picked this course because of proximity to the two airports our 7 players were flying into. One of our flights were delayed, so we barely made our tee time. The staff was very accomodating as our last four players rolled in during our first tee time and got us to the tee in time. The course has a lot of character and is a good warm up course for long weekend trup to get you ready to play OCN and Disney.

The individual that checked us in was very friendly and because it was our first time golfing there, gave us a lot of information.
The course was in good shape. I would golf there again.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Course is well laid out with several challenging holes that requires precision and accuracy to stay away from the water.
Target Golf
This is an older course with lots of character. Greens are quick and roll very true. The fairway corridors are very narrow and it takes precision off the tee to play well. Course is in great shape. The staff is outstanding and professional.
