Friendly staff average course
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Equipment was in average to poor condition as one of our carts quit on third hole. Greens were in good condition but very slow. However for the money this course is a good value
Recreational Course
The course was in good shape, the staff helpful and friendly, and the cost very reasonable. Just remember, the course is on a Navy base and is there to provide military personnel and their family recreation. So don't be in a hurry.
Fun Round
Staff was very friendly, greens and fairways were in great shape. The amount of work that was done on the course is making Trident a super place to play.
Love this place
It’s a great course. Always in great shape. Friendly staff and great restaurant. Lucky in the pro shop does a wonderful job at greeting you as you walk in the door.
rude dudes
stuck behind a fivesome last six holes did not allow us to play through extremely slow pace of play should not be allowed no course oversite anything goes I guess
Great course!
Forgiving fairways and rough, challenging approaches and greens. Course in great shape.
Great deal
I have played courses this summer from Naples fl to waycross ga and I can without a doubt this is the best condition course I have played.the greens were smooth rolling true and had no blemishes.Therest of the course had been mowed and. Maintained like a course should have been. Most of the courses I have played this summer have had some kind of a problem with being to wet some even unplayable. What a nice job being done here.I will definitely be back to play again. Thanks Howard
Always enjoy playing Trident Lakes, widest fairways of any course our group plays, currently in great condition despite the summer rains, never crowded, greens and fairways are in excellent condition, putts roll true, a fair test for anyone's game,
Watch for gators
There are a few gators in the water on the back nine.
Fairways and greens were in good condition with a few exceptions. Grass cutting was going on and it was a little wet so there was quite a bit of clippings laying everywhere.
Jewel on the coast
Easy layout. Fairways cut short but full growth. Greens full growth, rolled smooth and slower than I'm used to. Some bare spots on green edges either due to drainage and/or traffic patterns. Water available but take more. If not conditioned for the humiture come very prepared as there was no wind or breeze. I've played quit a few military courses but this one stands out and compares to some of the resort courses. The public is invited for course play so tee times are requested. The greens keeper and staff should be proud of this little jewel.
As good as some of the premium courses
First time playing this course and after finding it, we thoroughly enjoyed playing here. Greens, fairways excellent and tee boxes were above average/ Fair amount of water (some hidden if you have never played here) but over all, generous fairways and rough was just long enough to make you pay for less accurate shots. The group ahead of us was more than a deliberate and spent a lot of time after shots and on the green, but that happens everywhere. Live In Fernandina Beach, but it was certainly worth the drive. this will become one of our regular stops
