Hidden gem!
Wondered what a Navy course on a submarine base would be like so we gave it a shot. The lady in the pro shop was great and very helpful. Not a lot of people out playing so my wife and didn’t feel rushed or really have a wait on most holes. Enjoyed the layout but the back nine seemed harder. We saw a few gators and lots of birds but sadly no birdies. Enjoyable round.
Enjoyable round
A cool day, with 20 to 30 mph wind gusts, affected the ball flight on many occasions.
Liked the course, would definitely go back again.
Fine course
We had a fine time. The fairways are beginning to green up and the greens are in great condition.
Military golf
Nice course inside the submarine military base. No gate checkpoint to play. Great value and fun course . Front nine is easier than back. Lots of water & wide open fairways. Will play again if I’m the area.
Pro Shop Check in Attitude
Older gentleman in charge of the Proshop desk and tee time check in was very rude and very unprofessional. This is not the first time he has treated us in an unprofessional manner.
Winter Golf is Here.
2nd day in a row playing. Took advantage of their Free Christmas Round( Walking Only ) yesterday. Played with my regular Golf Buddy today. The fairways and roughs are in the Winter Stages, but so far they have been able to keep the Greens, and Tee Boxes in good shape. First time in forever that we seen a ranger out. He stopped to ask us to park on the cart path only, even though there was nothing said to us at check-in, or signs. No big deal, just a suggestion. Only negative side of our round today was got backed up at the 6th hole. The guy behind us was playing music from something we could hear clearly. Then as we were leaving the green the guy teed off landing his ball within 15 ft of us. As usual we enjoyed the round, and will be back again soon.
I ha e been playing this course for the last 3 months. In that time the greens have become remarkably better. They were just redone this summer and are now beginning to soften. The layout is nice. BEWARE OF THE GATORS

Can't find a better bang for your buck...Staff is always nice. Kevin does a very nice job...
It's a nice day trip from Florida and a joy to play.
I wish it was closer to Jacksonville so I could play It more. Great condition and price. Makes for a nice road trip and dinner on the way home. Play it and enjoy.
Nice course
This was my first time to play Trident Lakes. The course was nice and the weather grand. The greens were hard but rolled well. It was hard to hold the greens if your angle was too low.
The only drawback to my round was the 1:20 minute drive from near Savannah. The rate made it worth the drive and if I was local I would play Trident Lakes more often.
A pleasant place to play
Had pl aged here last November and feel that the course is in better condition this year. There is definitely a pleasant feel about this course, although there is little in the way of spectacular sceenery, the fairways, rough and greens are all in very nice condition and creating digits can be achieved without shocking your Hands or arms( mind you I'm an older player. The senior tees are well placed and the fairways are always obtainable unless you are really wild. As you may already assume I very much enjoyed playing this course and it is not as easy at it first appears.
A hidden treasure
This course is a secret gem and a pleasant surprise when you find it. Located on the outside perimeter of the sub base in a quiet country setting. Very well maintained, greens, fairways and tees. Any golfer would enjoy this course and the price is great. I really enjoy this course
