About
The golf course at Fairways Country Club is a short course but it is quite unforgiving. Water hazards come into play on fifteen of the eighteen holes of the course. The greens are small and tight and they are in excellent condition. There are also strategically placed bunkers situated throughout as well for extra challenge. The signature hole of the course is the par-5 5th hole, which has water on both sides of the fairway and it also runs across it 100 yards from the green. The course has three sets of teeboxes to accommodate different abilities and handicaps.

A LOT OF WATER
FRIENDLY STAFF - GREAT GREENS AND LOTS OF WATER HAZARDS. THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM.
Open Up The Clubhouse
Course in great shap, greens excellent. Management needs to open up the clubhouse, mandate masks until seated, but open it up. When coming off hole 18, make sure to follow the signs, we went across the parking lot the wrong way, 2 residents yelled at us, old folks with nothing better to do. Watch for the one way signs on exit of 18.
True class
Staff was very friendly , we had rude golfers behind us and staff told us to not to worry about them and enjoy the game. Lawn maintenance employees were very friendly and nice. Will recommend
Well manicured course
This course is well maintained, better than other nearby more expensive golf courses
FiveSome
Love the course but got stuck behind a Fivesome on the back nine. Yes I said Fivesome. Not only was it frustrating but they wouldn’t play ready golf or let my partner and I play though. Great course beside the slow play of the FIVESOME

Love the course but got stuck behind a 5 some on the back 9. Yes a FIVESOME!?!?! How does that happen I have no clue. And they were in no hurry did not play ready golf and never offered to let my buddy and I play though
Fun, challenging & rude residents.
Overall the course was fun and challenging. The greens were laid out in a fun way. The residents were not friendly at all. Some were driving across the fairway as we were about to tee off. Another picked up our balls while they were just on the other side of the cart path, not near their property. One asked my partner to be quiet and yelled about hitting their house. The group in front of us hit 3 houses and also drove their cart across a tee box, prompting residents to berate us. The turtles were very fun though.
Stellar course
I've played hundreds of rounds at practically every public course in Central Florida but for some reason never at Fairways....until now. What a fool I've been! Great course, great condition, great members and staff, and most importantly GREAT YARDAGE FROM FORWARD TEES. There's nothing worse for a golfer who hits 170 yard drives to have to hit driver 3 wood on every par 4 from the front tees as I have to do on MANY of the courses that I've played in Central Florida. Not at Fairways thank God. Love this course and you will too!
Nice little course
Greens were excellent. Fairways were still a little thin, but greening up nicely. Short course especially for men, so you have to be careful on some of the tee shots. My wife thought it was quite lady friendly. A lot of the holes were pretty straight away, but there were a few interesting ones. Quite flat, so pay attention to the water layout as pictured on the score card. Will play again, and would recommend it to visitors as a warm up course, too. Good price, so good value.

Couse was busy. We were Playing in a Threesome, Had to let 4
Sets of golfers play through because they were
Playing from the front tee's. The front tee's were sometimes 50 to 130yrds
Ahead of where we were teeing off. Frustrating, but we weren't in a big hurry. Just messed with our timing. Everything else was okay.
Great shape great rate
Green good and fast. Fairways good. Tee boxes need a bit more grass. Over all very nice. I will play this course a lot
