About
The golf course at Fairways Country Club is a short course but it is quite unforgiving. Water hazards come into play on fifteen of the eighteen holes of the course. The greens are small and tight and they are in excellent condition. There are also strategically placed bunkers situated throughout as well for extra challenge. The signature hole of the course is the par-5 5th hole, which has water on both sides of the fairway and it also runs across it 100 yards from the green. The course has three sets of teeboxes to accommodate different abilities and handicaps.

Get what you pay for
Price to play was too good to be true. Greens are smooth and fast. Fairways have lots of bare spots. Tee boxes are limited in size and have no forward tees for over 65 group. Layout pretty bland with not much to look at except row after row of manufactured housing.
Friendly, great condition
We had a bit of a problem finding the course at first, tucked into a subdivision. Weather was unseasonably cool for the area. As we were waiting for our turn at the putting green, struck up a conversation with a neighborhood resident. He was very friendly and humorous. Course was in great condition, greens were consistent and large. Plenty of water hazzards around the course, made it challenging but fair.

Short course--But lots of water!
We played on an extremely windy day, which made the course tough because of the amount of water on the course. Back nine has water on every hole! Overall condition was pretty good, greens are pretty good, but small. We learn that we had to bump and run it to get it onto the putting surface. You can putt from the aprons because they keep it closely mowed.

Course is in pretty good condition, greens are very fast. I enjoy the layout, plenty challenging and good pace of play. Staff is very friendly.

Fun course
Greens could use some work, especially around the edges, but they were fast and rolled true. Fairways were decent but not much “plush” grass, very thin grass, much like the tee boxes. Still for the average, play for fun , golfers the course offers
some challenging holes.
