Schaumburg Golf Club - Players/Baer Course

Course was in excellent condition, presented a challenge for all but the best golfers. Temp in 90's and humidity high -- rained just after we finished. Would return.

The course was in outstanding condition. This was the first time playing the course and it will not be the last. The staff was very nice and the pace of play was good but we did play in during the weekday AM. Overall, for a park district course this place was in excellent condition.

We played on a 75 degree day, all sun took 4 hours 10 minutes teeing off before noon. Never were pushed in front of from behind as groups were 9 minutes apart.

If player would have fixed their ball marks on the greens it would have been a 10, maybe too much to expect on a public course

This used to be my home course. The place where I cut my teeth years ago. I have very fond memories of this course. Impeccable conditions, awesome pace of play, great staff and rangers.

I went back to play there after a few years and found that while the conditions are still the same, pace of play management has gone to the dogs. The round lasted 5:10 minutes. This would have been unheard of years ago. There was a ranger riding around but didn't seem like he was doing anything to speed up play. Just taking some notes on his clipboard. The group ahead of us was horrendous. One of the guys was hitting 3-4 shots off every tee in Happy Gilmore style. I would have quit if not for the fact that I had a career round going. We finished as it was getting dark and the group ahead of us was doing nothing to speed up play even as a courtesy to the groups behind them. Unfortunately I have to rate this course poorly because of the management's complete lack of attention to pace of play which was one of the hallmarks of this course. I don't know if I will go back to this place. I still want to preserve my great memories from the past.

I was blown away by this course. Everything seemed to be in tip top shape. The pro shop was well stocked and had friendly staff.

The Tournament Course(only holes I played) were in wonderful shape. Everything was very clearly marked and alleviated any confusion about where to go next while playing(greatly helps for a first time visiter). Pace of play was no issue. Groundscrew was out and about maintaining the beautiful course, but never once got in the way(that I could tell) of play despite having multiple groups scattered along all 3 sets of courses.

All in all it was a very enjoyable round of golf and I will be back.

Group in front of us was very slow probably because they were taking pictures of their set up and swings on the course. Nobody in front of them for 3+ holes. Called pro shop and they sent a ranger out.

Greens are true and fast.

I used to be a Ranger at this course about 20 yrs. ago. It was very nostalgic coming back to play here. It is in very good shape. Actually best shape I have seen it. Thank you grounds keepers. and Golf Now for the Hot Deal that let us play at a very reasonable rate.

Play was slow Ranger did not do much to speed up play

I'd never played this course before and I was beyond pleasantly surprised. The people at the course were incredibly nice and the course was in great condition.

We played Tournament/Baer, white tees. The course is well laid out with a good mix of challenging risk/reward holes. The greens were in good condition and the fairways were gorgeous. This was a Thursday afternoon, so I know you can't count on this, but it felt like we had the course all to ourselves. Even with a twenty-minute rain delay in a downburst, we finished in less than 3 1/2 hours.

I can't recommend this course highly enough.

Tee time was at 6:40 am and we finished in exactly 4 hours even with some waiting on a few holes. This is my second time playing here this season and pace of play was good both times. Greens are a little slower than last year but still roll pretty decent. Would definitely come back to play again.

Course is in excellent condition! I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

This course is perfect for you if you like true rolling greens, multiple shot shaping visuals on each hole from the tee and greens that are receptive and consistent. I'm a 7 hdcp back on my home course and this course pushed into the 80's for the first time around. A little challenging here and there and a couple green light greens from tee even from the blues. Played with 3 die hard Chicago sports fans and we shared some good comradery being from St. Louis. Altogether, the staff and locals were good people. The course was in immaculate condition. Well worth the $ for 1:20p.m. tee on a Tuesday. Next time I'm in Schaumburg. You can find me at this course looking to break that 80!

Today was my first time golfing at Schaumburg Golf Club and I must say that I was pleased with my experience here. The greens are fast and well kept. The 24th hole on the Players Course was challenging but I enjoyed it.

Course is in good shape and it was sooo nice to play at a good pace on a Saturday. 4:10 or so, and even quicker than that until a lost ball in the group 2 in front of us on 16.

The course is in great shape.great place for intermediate golfers, many opportunities to get pars.the greens were fast but fairly easy to read . would definitely play there again.

Very well maintained for a park district course and the pace of play much better than most public courses. Would highly recommend this facility. Food and beverages in Chandlers also above average.

Nice layout and in very good condition. Played 18 in just over 4 hours. Greens very fast. Overall a very nice 18 hole round.

I played the 'Players' course for the first time here on the 7th of June and loved it. They have some very challenging holes, most dogleg to the right but also mix in some par 3's and a couple 5's. Loved the layout of the course, not too much water but just enough to make it challenging. They keep it in great condition and have some high tamed roughs. I loved it so much that i played today on the 8th and have my tee time again for the 9th. I play at 6am every morning so far and they have the greens in great condition already at that time. Even a friendly staff that early. Highly recommend.
