Country Club of Miami - West
About
The Country Club of Miami, located near residential areas, boasts two courses, the East Course and the West Course. Both golf courses at the club have seen many famous players including Jackie Gleason, Bob Hope, and Jack Nicklaus. The West Course features rolling greens as well as many strategically placed bunkers. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The course is very well maintained and provides a good game for players of any skill level. Conveniently, the golf club has a large pitting, putting, and chipping area where golfers can work on their short game and there is also a grass driving range.

A Great Course for Intermediate to Advanced Golfers
The course requires planning. There are plenty of Bunkers and Water Hazards to catch your ball if you are too aggressive. It's a lot easier to play from the fairway than the rough so, keeping you ball in the short grass will definitely make for a more enjoyable round. I look forward to playing it again soon.
Great course
Really challenging, tight fairways, lots of water, makes you really think of shot selection. Course is in great condition, well manicured fairways and bunkers. Greens are perfect condition except for a few holes.
West Course is a good round
Not for the timid golfer. Challenging forced carries, strategically placed bunkers, and great site lines.
West Course
Greens very well kept and enjoy the overall course
Great greens and fast pace of play
Weekday play was excellent. We finished in 3 1/2 hrs.
The greens were in great shape with a few holes where there was spotty repair underway.
The sand traps were great (nice soft sand) or poor (thin rock hard sand). For the price, this was an excellent deal. Fairway were fine as were the tee boxes. Great fun if you are conveniently located near this course.
Greens nice Fairways poor
The conditions of the fairway were fair at best. Tee boxes were void of grass in some places. The greens were in good shape and easy to put. The roll was true on the greens. Practice greens were in rough shape it sand and rough spots everywhere.
Holiday course
Nice easy course, tees could be better but greens lighting quick. Narrow entrances to greens.
yes
I wil play this course again good vauld for overall
Valentine's Day Golf
Best way to celebrate friendship in one of Miami's best golf in Miami.
Fair
Rent clubs came w/o a pitch in one bag. The greens are just fair
This coarse has some interesting holes with the water.
The greens were very slow. I just couldn't get the ball to holes no matter how hard I putted it.
Good value-will play again
Overall course was in nice shape-I will play again during my stay here in Miami
This course is good.
Worthwhile playing. reasonable price and well designed maintained course.
Okay if there's no where else to play
Nice people, friendly atmosphere....driving range is pretty bad. Course really isn't in good shape. Pace of play was pretty slow the rangers were non existent.
Crowded
Playing was good, however we did get bogged down as there was no one working the course once you leave the starter. We had a tee time (Thru You) but it meant nothing. They had us stuck behind a huge group of retirees from Canada that were super slow. We finally convinced the starter to allow to play the other course as we would have been there 6+ hours. They just let people go to the tee box whenever they get there instead of sticking to actual tee times.
Greens need work
The overall conditions on the East Course are nice but there is some wear on he greens. I would recommend this course for anybody, any handicap for an enjoyable round
Terrible Conditions
Weeeds, bare patches on both fairway and greens, on some grens more sand than grass. I can see how it was once a good, challenging course, but now it's just awful.
Friendly course!!!
Very friendly course. Easy to play, and in fair condition!!!
Country Club of Miami
Great golf value ! Robert Trent Jones design. Select the correct tees The west course was a PGA stop back in the 60 s. Difficult but fair. The east course is slightly easier but no slouch. These courses are not for new golfers. Plenty of water on both courses. The west course has some blind water hazards The east is more obvious. Great value ! Must play !
It was ok.
I do recommend this course but manage your expectations, It's just a playable golf course.
