Serket

Had an amazing time at thus desert course. Built into the hill just outside of Vegas, the drive to the course took less than 20 minutes. Upon arrival, was met by an amazing staff. Truly felt like they appreciated me being there and were obviously very proud of their course! Special thanks to Donovan and Lucas on the Serket team!

The course is challenging but special. I guarantee that anyone who plays the course will want to play it again. It’s just that good!

Fairways were patchy. Collar was consistently crabgrass or no grass. Greens were good. Dead rough, but that’s probably due to the time of year. Ultimately, the conditions aren’t reflected in the price.

Greeted by great staff from the cart guys to the pro shop. The bev cart, James the starter and outside grill were phenomenal. The course was a little to be desired for the price. Slow pace of play, patches in the fairways, and below average bunkers. Elite prices warrant elite conditions. Maybe the new management will deliver on the quality after a chance to fully place their imprint on the property.

I simply cannot describe how bad of condition this once great course is in now-late October-high season.I'm sure blame will be put on the overseeding but if thats the case course should not have re-opened.13 fairways with 3 inch grass growing--think second cut of rough--1 fairway with no grass on it.Greens ran around a 6 on stimp.No sand in bunkers.And this is all in peak season!--My big group are regulars to Vegas.Thank goodness I played this as 1 off or would have really been embarrassed to take the other 24 guys here.It was more expensive than anything we played and super funny that Piaute,.Coyote,.Arroya and Rhodes Ranch were all pristine and the best shape we have ever played them.

The new logo is nice and so were the people but skip this one.

I played Serket on the first day of its new name. I was probably a bit early, as the fairways were too shaggy to be considered in good shape. The routing and scenery never disappoint, though, so it was an easy tradeoff to experience one of Sin City's best courses for the first time in a decade-plus. Part of the fun of playing Serket is marveling at all the massive homes up on the bluffs surrounding the course. The long-range views out to the Strip are striking as well from multiple greens and tees. The par 3s are a huge strength. I'd put them up against any public/resort course west of the Mississippi. They're challenging.

The course just changed names and is going through some changes. The staff was excellent, however the course is not in very good shape as the course was recently seeded and the fairways were more like rough. The driving range is in tough shape as well. Great layout and will hopefully be in better condition soon. It is not worth the money and I would recommend checking in course conditions before playing.

This was my group's second time playing Rio Secco on our annual Vegas golf trip. While there were a few more fairway dry spots than last year, the course was in great shape with zippy greens. We love the layout of RS and the views. The staff was attentive and friendly. The design makes every hole interesting, usually challenging, and memorable. We'll be back for more next year!

Loved this course. If you are traveling to Vegas you have to play here. The total experience is fantastic. I would highly recommend this course.

Front 9 has several elevated tee boxes to blind fairways. Fairway bunkers on every hole at ~250. Deep greenside bunkers, several levels to greens. Narrow fairways with waste on both sides. Would only recommend for people who are accurate with their driver and are a single digit handicap or better.

Par 3's all have significant elevation changes or carries over hazards. Par 5's were not really get-able in 2. Long par 4's. Doglegs, uphill par 3's, long holes. Unique and difficult layout that requires accuracy and length.

Course was in great condition. Tee boxes were cut short, overseed was done very well. Greens were smooth and fast but not the fastest in town. Rough was dormant. Almost too much sand in the bunkers.

It's resort course pricing (but honestly not much different than nearby courses that were cheaper, outside of the tee time intervals (10 min vs 9 min). Staff was very friendly and there to take your bags and clean your clubs after the round. Carts had GPS but the software was older - no green slopes, would not tell you where the restricted area was. Grass range open even in the winter. Beverage cart came around several times.

Carts paths are under a big repair. Golf carts have GPS sensors that make it difficult to get around since they stop you at odd times when you’re trying to navigate. Even at the resident rate, I think this course is too pricy for what it is. Solid layout and greens were in good shape. You can get a similar experience at Revere for a better price.

This is an excellent course about 30 minutes off the strip in Henderson. You'll have 18 unique holes with views of the strip and many million dollar homes. The course is challenging and fair - was in excellent condition. Give it a try.
