Youth on Course releases the 2024 schedule for its 100 Hole Hikes

Golfers can raise money to grow the game in the best way possible - playing 100 holes in a single day.

It's almost hiking season...on the golf course.

Youth on Course, a non-profit in Pebble Beach, Calif., that allows junior golfers to play for $5 at thousands of courses around the country, has released the 2024 schedule for its popular 100 Hole Hikes. These fundraisers collect money to supplement the cost of tee times for its members who are ages 18 and under.

It's more than appropriate that the season kicks off at Pinehurst Resort on Aug. 26 and concludes at Pebble Beach Resorts on Nov. 11 with plenty of other locations in between. This East-West dynamic shows the 100 Hole Hike's impact spans from coast to coast.

The biggest news is a new flexible option that allows hikers to participate as a team, like a relay race where they can tap in and tap out, fostering camaraderie and teamwork throughout the challenge.

In the early days after the hiking concept first launched in 2012, 100 Hole Hikes were a badge of honor. Golfers actually played 100 holes on a regulation-sized golf course. This iron-man/woman format only allowed the fittest and most dedicated players to participate. Now that short courses and relay teams are an option, there are no barriers to signing up to play. Every dollar raised directly supports Youth on Course's mission to provide youth with access to golf and membership opportunities. Click here for more information or to sign up for a hike.

2024 Youth on Course 100 Hole Hikes

3 Premier Hikes

This option includes dinner the night before, overnight accommodations, exclusive incentives and an elevated experience. All three are on short courses, so they're easy to walk and play, while having a good time. The fundraising minimum is $10,000. U.S. hikers who hit that mark earn a round of golf at Pebble Beach Golf Links and an overnight stay at The Inn at Spanish Bay from January 6-7, 2025. Those who hit $20,000 receive a round for two at Pebble Beach. Canadian golfers get the same treatment at Cabot Cape Breton - those who raise $10,000 receive an extra night's stay and a round at Cabot Cliffs on Oct. 6, while those who raise $20,000 get to bring a guest.

This option includes custom swag and food and beverages on Hike day. The fundraising minimum is $1,000 - a number much more doable for most golfers. Participants who raise $2,500 get a Youth on Course branded water bottle, golf towel and Seamus headcover and $5,000 nets hikers a $500 voucher to PGA Tour Superstore.
