Excellent course, excellent condition.
Sandpiper bay is great condition. Played the Piper 9 followed by the Sand 9 and couldnt have been more impressed. Greens ran smooth and true, fairways looked beautiful. If I had to complain about something I'd say some of the tee boxes needed some TLC but most looked fine. First time playing and can't wait to come back!
Enjoyable Round
Course was in great shape. Greens still had a little bumpiness from plugging. Pace was good. Very friendlyq staff. Play this course, you will like it.
From the head professional, thank you for the feedback. Our greens are back in excellent shape.
fFnally back Playing after 2 Achilles surgery
Course was in great shape and and Stafe was as I remember from years ago . True professional as always and friendly.
Fairways we're nice and greens soft and rolled Sweet. Rough little short. Tee box we're all good.
Weather was great.
Thanks for another great day with my son and brother-in-law can't get any better.
Thanks Larry
Larry -- thanks for playing at Sandpiper Bay. We will finish aerifying next week and the greens will be better and better the rest of the summer.
from the Head Golf Professional - Welcome back and we are glad you enjoyed your round. Come back soon!
from the Head Golf Professional - come back anytime, we are in great shape year round!
First Booking
First time using this app. Was skeptical about choosing a curse due to pricing I was seeing. Extremely surprised after playing the course yesterday. So pleased, decided to play again today and will book a third round on Thursday. Course conditions were superb and staff at Sandpiper Bay were terrific
from the Head Golf Professional - We appreciate your feedback and giving us a chance.
Great Course
It made a pleasant change to get 18 holes played well within 4 hours. The greens and fairways are in great condition. The staff friendly. I would play this again in a heartbeat
from the Head Golf Professional - we are proud of our 4 hour or less pace of play, thank you for giving us a try.
Ok unless you need a bathroom
People with stomach issues beware. VERY few bathrooms. Played the Bay course and NEVER saw a bathroom! Didn’t see one on Sand corse until #8!!!
from the Head Golf Professional - Sandpiper Bay has two bathrooms on Bay #5 beside the green and on the Sand course it is on holes #3 and #7. Our Piper course features bathrooms on hole #2 and #7. All three nines finish at the clubhouse with bathroom facilities.
May 2019 Golf
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course was in beautiful condition and well maintained. Only issue we had was they overbooked tee times and had several large groups. This pushed our tee time back about 1/2 hour, and pace of play was slow. Did not see any rangers on the course. Overall, very nice course.
Great recovery
We come to Myrtle Beach every spring. Last year the course had taken severe ice damage and was in bad shape. This year, the greens were immaculate and the course in general was in great shape. It was a quiet day, so our foursome of two couples played our round in under 4 hours.
Best greens we’ve played this week, I highly recommend this course for mid to high handicap players. Fairways are quite generous.
Great Value
For the price, I don’t know if you can find anything better! The course was in great shape. Definitely a play again course!
Overall, a good day of golf. Course was in excellent shape. Front nine a bit slow--we were the first afternoon group, but after the turn pace was good. Was scolded when I checked in and told the pro shop I had three players and a non-playing rider. Should not have been an issue. We were paired with a local member who was a delight. Excellent value for the money.
From the head professional. Due to the recent drought we have only been able to water the greens. Our tees are slowing coming back with the weekly rain.
