Sandpiper Bay Golf & Country Club - Sand Nine

Good course and fun environment. Rebuilt greens so temporary ones on certain holes. The bar staff were hateful and not friendly. Only the cart girl was nice.

The staff is very friendly. I am was told of the problems they have had with the greens due to the bad winter as soon as I arrived. The course was over all in good shap. There are 4 temporary greens, but other than that good. The guys I played with said that it is getting better each week.

The heat index was in the triple digits but it was still a beautiful day on the golf course. The course had some areas under repair ( 4 temporary greens) and some fairways were very spongy due to overnight rains, but overall the course was in good condition.

We did not play till 12-noon, so there were very few players on the course and we were able to play in two hours and forty-five minutes. It was our first time out in six weeks, so we thoroughly enjoyed our day!

To many Temporary greens. Signed up for $3.00 round plus tax on Golf Now. Told in Pro Shop, No Way I was going to play for $3.00 Greens Fee over a "Miss-Print" Golf Now made. That will be $30.00 or $25.00 since you drove all this way to play. Thanks for nothing,

Played here for a $20 hot deal while I was at Sunset for the week.

Greens were in great condition considering that most of the greens in this area died this winter. I played the Piper and the Sand courses (27 hole facility), the Piper had some greens with some spotting around the edges and the Sand had 4 temporary greens, but other than that they were great, just really slow. Took a lot of getting used to their speed, but they were still great quality. They also had a $10 replay rate - if you play the Sand course, you can play another 9 holes right after for just $10.

The course is beautiful as well, with water coming into play on many holes and some tricky front-side bunkers in play. Not super difficult, but just difficult enough of a course to score well and have a good time.

Next time I'm in the area I will for sure be coming back to this course. Great price, great course, great staff, etc.

This is a really great place for a relaxed, no stress, friendly day of golf. Great service at the bag drop, cool club house, cheap lunch, cheap beer. Also, range balls are included which was great. This is a great course to arrive early to.

The course itself was in great shape even though they had four temporary greens. The other greens were fantastic. The fairways and tee boxes were also great. I only say it was underwhelming because the lay out is kind of boring. No really memorable holes. No risky decisions needed. None of the par 5s are reachable. Fairways are wide open with few hazards in play. Everything is pretty flat. It got a little monotonous, but it was still fun and. really beautiful.

That said, a great place to golf with friends if you don’t want to think to hard. A great place where you can spend an entire afternoon.

Course was in great shape with the exception of the greens. Apparently the Myrtle Beach golf courses had a very tough spring and many courses lost greens or portions of them. Pace of play was fantastic if we had not stopped for a drink and a snack at the turn we would have finished under three and a half hours. Staff was very friendly. I look forward to playing this course again when it is healthy. Be sides the temporary greens the regular greens were left pretty long so putting required a stronger stroke that normal and breaks were much less of a issue. I had no three putts but did not have many one putts either. I like the greens to be faster.

Always pleasant outing. Some of the greens are being repaired but it is still a goof value and challenging.

I enjoyed this course a lot ! Due to some frost damage they were re-surfacing some of the greens but overall a great round !! Very friendly staff and awesome course for the price !!

Winter kill, This past winter was rough on the greens but they are working to repair them and rebuild them the rest of the course is in the shape and I enjoyed playing there

Nice course . geens were a little bummpy and they do not allow you to carry your own beer out on the course so leave t in the car and go back and get it.

Good course to play as opening or 1st day of golf vacation.

Fun playable course, just didnt have any of the "camera" holes that wow you. I would play it again.

I enjoy playing this course because of the 3 nine hole courses. I played their 3 times and i actually felt like I played 3 different courses. Fairways were in good shape. They are working on their greens and I saw progress in the month I was there. Can’t wait to play there again in the fall.

They have had weather damage and greens were unplayable. Settled for a two putt on most greens. Some grass was 3/4 inch high and some had no grass. Quite different from the last time I played there a couple years ago. It was very nice then.

après avoir vu les commentaires de golfeur sur golf advisor on ne s'attendait pas à quelque chose de bien mais surprise ce fut pire que l'on croyait les verts était complètement injouable il y avait même 4 verts temporaires disons des conditions affreuse nous avons alors été demander si nous pouvions être rembourser nous avons alors passer pour des gens chialeur comme si nous n'avions pas raison d'être insatisfait il a fallu fortement argumenter pour finalement réussir à se faire changer à un autre parcours disons des moments très désagréable
