Enjoyable round
As a single player I had my wife accompany me, the charge for her as a rider was $25 which I felt was excessive. The course was in good condition, the people I played with were good company and it was a lovely afternoon, what more could one ask for.
well worth the drive
Course was in excellent condition
played fair
pace of play on that day was slow, marshalls need to be more assertive in speeding up play.
all in all a good experience
will go back
Fantabulous !
Played the Sand and the Piper course (They have 3 nines), the fairways were nicely cut, the greens were in great condition and fast, and will definately add to my favourite course list in the Myrtle Beach area.
Thank you Golf now for the hot deal on this course !
Enjoy your Day
Greens hard and fast but true, fairways tees and traps in good shape and player friendly. Aim and shoot there's no obstacles preventing a low score. Staff is very friendly and the price is right.
Nice layout.
A park course that has some challenging holes and others where if you hit a decent drive you will have a birdie possibility.
We enjoyed this course. Everything about the course was perfect. Pace of play was just a little slow but not slow compared to courses in area.
Good value
Bit of a journey from where we stayed but well worth doing. Good reception, individual at the bag drop amusing, paired with a nice couple of guys. Course in good shape and an interesting layout, lovely weather, I found the greens a bit fast compared with my home course in the UK. We enjoyed the round so much that we hope to get together and play the course again when we are next in Myrtle Beach in the spring.
Great value
For $39 on a weekend morning this course is a great value. Played the Piper and Bay nines. Nice layout and very fair from the red tees for our group of older women. Fairways were in good shape as were the hard and fast greens. Some pin placements on slopes were aggravating but that's golf. The pace was surprisingly good for the volume. Finished in just over 4 hours. Even the grill was a good value. We paid $5 For 2 hotdogs, a drink and a chip bag which we split among each twosome. At my home course that special would be at least $10. I was very pleased with the whole deal since I picked the course!
Very interesting layout and conditions
Played with a member and enjoyed our day. Course was very interesting and challenging. Greens were excellent. About 4 guys managing the starter shack with a large group getting ready to play. So I was getting directions by committee as to when and where we would go off (there are three 9's). One guy got really upset about me putting my and my wife's clubs on one of 10 empty carts and actually started taking them off!! Another starter told him to put them back. Annoying but kind of funny too. I don't need the whole faux Augusta National treatment, I just came to play golf.
Nice relaxing course
Beat up on by some of the other courses it felt good to relax and enjoy your round of golf. Great for the average golfer that wants to feel good about himself again. Played with a local couple FM and they were delightful.
Great value
Great value for your money. Very nicely conditioned gets a lot of play expect 4 to 4 1/2 hours per round.
Great Course
Weather was perfect and so was the condition of the course, both fairways and greens. Could not have been a better day for golf on a great course and friendly staff.
Great course fun to play
Great course fun to play, as far as I’m concerned Sandpiper Bay is one of the best courses in the area and is a wonderful value for the money. Would play it once a week if I could
Sandpiper supreme
This may be the best quality course in the area. Been coming here for twenty years and this was the first time to play. Would play here every day if I could
