The Pearl Golf Links - West Course

Great and friendly staff all the way around. Course in good condition. Was wet but didn't hear the dreaded "Cart Path Only".

played here for the first time on Friday. staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and made you feel like they already knew you driving range was a short walk from the clubhouse and was in good condition for mid March. Played the west/east combo. conditions were very good with fairways and greens green and rough still dormant. Greens were a little slow but in great shape(no unrepaired ball marks). Tee boxes were level, had grass and were fairly clean. the layout was nice though unusual to have back to back par threes on the east 9 and both were about the same distance (though one had a large carry over water.) Though it hadn't rained in probably a week, there were some areas that were still soggy and resulted in plugged balls. Otherwise, the course layout was nice. The beverage cart came around at least 4 times which was nice, and golf carts were in good shape, though having usb ports in them would have been a plus. Teed off around 9:30 and pace of play was great (around 4 hrs.) would definitely come back as price was very good as well.

This is one if the best courses I have played in some time, both in terms of course layout and conditions. Fairways were thick for this time of year, and the greens were reaonable. Course layout was interesting and at times challenging.

Cart path only but course wasn’t that bad. Greens are EXCELLENT. Tees,bunkers and fairways very good. Staff friendly I will return and recommend this course. Would be 5 stars on a nice day.

Layout of course, East to North, was excellent. Greens were challenging and fast. Would recommend and play again in the future. Played in four hours and not wet so was able to use the cart.

This was our first time playing in Myrtle Beach area. We came down without knowing which courses we would play. We were disappointed with the first two, but blown away with this choice.

The course has 3 nines. We played West and East. The course was a little wet, but dry compared to the two courses we played the day before.

It has a little bit of everything. Picturesque holes (many), true, firm greens, elevation changes, links style holes, tree lined hole, blind shots, etc.

It was a lot of fun even though there isn’t a flat putt on the course and whoever placed the flags was obviously in a bad mood.

We saw other groups, but we never had to wait to hit a shot. Ended up playing another 9 holes for $20 each. Played 27 holes in a little over five hours. So pace was great........and we were there on a Sunday of MLK weekend.

Will definitely play this course again.

I always enjoy playing a round of golf with good company, in shorts, on New Year's Eve. The Pearl is a nice track in good shape you should put on your list when visiting MB.

For this time of year the course was in great shape, The greens were great. The staff is very friendly. I will definitely be back. For the price you cant go wrong.

Great course really impressed me . Greens are in perfect shape rolling fast and true fairways over seeded and green . Great pace of play 3 hrs and had a 4 some in front of us . I’ll be back for sure . One of the best places in the North Myrtle /SE NC area in my opinion

The desk staff were engaged and friendly. The starter was full of tips, plays the course often, so he told us some things to avoid, but left other enjoyable adventures for us to discover on our own. The course was set in spots, done holes were carry path only, but it is Dec. A great day on a great course, in a great setting.

We had a great day at the Pearl, great layout in very good shape. I was apprehensive booking tee time when it was wide open on a Saturday morning, so glad I did. The course is a great layout with many different challenges. There are several holes around Marsh and river views that will keep you in good spirits

Enjoyed playing very much. Coming back again when down.

Course was in good condition on fairways and greens. Cart paths could need a little work. Layout was challenging, but fair. Nice scenery, particularly the West nine. Will definitely play here again.
