#4 West is a cool short par three with several good tee angles into an undulating green. Photo submitted by DenisDotson on 03/28/2020

The best scenery is on #8 West - a long and testing par 5 along the Calabash River. Photo submitted by DenisDotson on 03/28/2020

The Pearl no longer shines
The Pearl is no longer a 36 hole complex as they have closed the East course holes 3-11 only playing holes 1,2 & 12-18. With the exception of the last two holes on the East nine, the East course’s conditions have become horrendous...bare tee boxes & fairways on holes 13-17 makes one wonder why they just don’t abandon the East course totally. The West course (we only played the original back nine) is in pristine condition. So sad to see this gem literally die off. Unless they go with just the West course only, this will no longer be in our rotation.
Really nice. Bring bug spray.
Played the north and west courses. Really well maintained. Bring serious bug spray. Chased a ball into the woods and got bit at least 15 times.
nice track....bad mosquitoes
Course was nice and in good condition. Staff was not very friendly. We preferred not to use the bag drop due to COVID-19. We asked to take a cart to the parking lot and were told no. Then we saw two other groups pick up carts and take them to the parking lot to get their clubs. Must treat tourist different than locals. Also, the mosquitoes were the wort I have ever seen....so take bug spray!
Nice course
Great shape and greens rolling true and not too fast.
Mosquitoes were a major problem. Bring lots of repellant.
Good golf experience
Course in good condition. Greens very good. Pace of play was great. Staff very friendly. Bring Your bug spray. Lot of mosquitoes in the wooded tee areas and green areas
Just Alright
After playing Farmstead and Thistle for about the same price (actually Farmstead was $12 less local rate) the Pearl was a disappointment.. i must say the greens were excellent though.
Beautiful Course
Beautiful Course, staff was very friendly, course was in great shape. Will play here again.
The Pearl
Course was in great shape. The pace of play was great even with cart path only it took 3 hours.
Enjoyable Round
I was a single and paired with a member. Went our own pace on East course (1st out on that 9) and had to wait a little for the back nine (North).
My GPS was not correct due to reconfiguring of holes but was able to figure out what holes were removed.
Very wet. Played East instead of West for front 9 because only 1 hole was cart path only. East had 4 holes cart path only other than the par 3s.
Very challenging but fair. Need to have fairly straight tee shots.
Nice course, holes not linked to SwingU
Course was nice, very well-kept. They are changing the layout of the course (homes to be built) and it does not line up with apps like SwingU and others. It made my GPS distance not work for the course. Other than that really enjoyed it.
Don't miss it
Played the North and west nines. Which is the old west course. 3 hour round, only two of us. Course was in excellent shape. Greens rolled extremely well. Not to fast or slow, they held there lines. Ask your packaging company to include it in your next quote as it is good value.
fun course, friendly helpful staff
Greens are in great shape, fairways are good but tight, tees and traps need help. Friendly very helpful staff.
Interesting course with good variety - 6 par 5s, and
5 par 3s. Good proshop and clubhouse.
Its. a 27 hole course and only saw one beverage cart throughout the round. With as hot as it is and no coolers allowed having more than one beverage cart would make since
Very Nice Surprise
Staff was very friendly. The course was in very good shape. Not quite a 5 but somewhere between 4-5. Most of the tee boxes were in good shape. Fairways were in good shape. The greens were in good shape considering that they had been aerated recently. Should be very nice in a couple more weeks. The West and East run along the intercoastal waterway. The North does not so less hazards. I played West and North. Will definitely play again.
