#4 West is a cool short par three with several good tee angles into an undulating green. Photo submitted by DenisDotson on 03/28/2020

The best scenery is on #8 West - a long and testing par 5 along the Calabash River. Photo submitted by DenisDotson on 03/28/2020

Great course!
This is a beautiful, challenging course. the course is absolutely beautiful with views that are breathtaking. I will add this to a short list of MUST GOLF courses in the Grantd Strand area.
27 holes of awesomeness
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are in excellent condition. Highly recommend
Great Golf Day
This was my first time at the Pearl Golf Club. I played with with Mike from Charlotte, NC. The conditions were great, the course was in great shape. I would definitely recommend this course, and will come back again.
Round Review
First time playing this course, very nice layout and everything was in real good shape. A bit tight off the tee and many places to miss, my only complaint would be to get more yardage markers on the course or to put Gps in the carts.
Very nice course and pretty cheap as well. Great value!
Friendly staff, enjoyable course
Friendly staff, enjoyable course. I was warned by a friend of mine that this would not be a friendly course for a woman. Don’t know if things changed or not, but I found staff very friendly and helpful. The course was absolutely beautiful. Love the layout and the condition was good. Trying to blame the greens, but it must’ve been my putting was off. Barely missed several putts. Play got extremely slow but it was a Saturday. But again staff was very helpful and addressed And solved the issue. Will definitely go back and recommend.
Nice day for golf
I played in a 3-some at the Pearl West and East today in perfect weather. The course was in very good shape and we had no one in front of us, so we finished in less than 4 hours. I had problems with my Garmin finding the East course, but the West course tracked perfectly. All in all, it was a good value.
It is what it is
Played this course about seven years ago when it was a pearl. Now it is a ho hum, so-so conditions, chopped up due to potential development that did not take place, GPS nightmare which does not track to new hole locations. But for a $33 Hot Deal it was worth the money. Staff is as unfriendly as it was years ago when first visited this course.
Great service good value
Recently relocated to the area and played the Pearl North and West course for the first time.. Called for a tee time and they were very polite and accommodating, unlike some of the other courses in the area. When I arrived at the course the staff treated me as a valued guest. The course is open with some challenging greens all and all a good value.
Long Fairways and Greens
Pearl is a quirky blend of pine barrens golf and wide-open parkland golf, but it's a pretty fair test of golf. Tee boxes and fairways were overseeded and green but very long and the greens were slow as molasses. Perhaps the greens staff didn't mow on this day, but between the slow greens and the steady winds, it was a tough test of golf.
Several of the greens are very undulating and make for extremely difficult approaches. Course knowledge will definitely serve you well here. We played the North and West nines and while I think both are fairly pedestrian in terms of their layout, the final four holes on the West nine along the Calabash River are a lot of fun.
The Pearl's not going to blow anybody away, but it's one of the more affordable courses in the area and a good test of golf. I hope the greens staff can continue to maintain and improve the course conditions in the near future.
OVERALL: 6.3/10

Nice layout but crappy fairways
Fairways were as long as the rough and many spots on the course were barely playable
Great course.
Really enjoyed our round. Very well organized. Great staff. A few wet spots but overall in great shape. Will definitely play again.
Enjoyed round
Good pace of play and greens and short grass where in good condition. Price is fair, will return for another rd.
Beach Beauty
We played all 27 holes and the course was fantastic. Playing off the green grass in Feb is a real thing treat. Several holes run along the waterway and salt water Marsh for great views, smells of the salt water Marsh and smooth and quick greens. Course is fair but tight driving distance not as important as accuracy. A true Beach classic that will not disappoint.
Excellent experience! Highly recommend
Great layout that includes many challenges and opportunities to score. Staff did a good job managing the crowd. Course is in decent shape for late February. Greens are fast and roll true. Add this course to your list for Myrtle Beach - you won’t be disappointed!
Course has very interesting layout.
Experience was very good, car paths could use some attention.
