#4 West is a cool short par three with several good tee angles into an undulating green. Photo submitted by DenisDotson on 03/28/2020

The best scenery is on #8 West - a long and testing par 5 along the Calabash River. Photo submitted by DenisDotson on 03/28/2020

#9 West: A quirky par 5 over a lake in front of the clubhouse. Photo submitted by DenisDotson on 03/28/2020

Nice layout but crappy fairways
Fairways were as long as the rough and many spots on the course were barely playable
Great course.
Really enjoyed our round. Very well organized. Great staff. A few wet spots but overall in great shape. Will definitely play again.
Enjoyed round
Good pace of play and greens and short grass where in good condition. Price is fair, will return for another rd.
Beach Beauty
We played all 27 holes and the course was fantastic. Playing off the green grass in Feb is a real thing treat. Several holes run along the waterway and salt water Marsh for great views, smells of the salt water Marsh and smooth and quick greens. Course is fair but tight driving distance not as important as accuracy. A true Beach classic that will not disappoint.
Excellent experience! Highly recommend
Great layout that includes many challenges and opportunities to score. Staff did a good job managing the crowd. Course is in decent shape for late February. Greens are fast and roll true. Add this course to your list for Myrtle Beach - you won’t be disappointed!
Course has very interesting layout.
Experience was very good, car paths could use some attention.
Nice course, will go to replay list.
The starter new more rain was coming, so he let me go out a little early. I did experience rain on holes 7-11, but was fortunate to hit dry periods to start and finish the round. The course was saturated from a lot of rain and played extremely long from the white tees with virtually no roll. The course layout was good with all holes in a natural environment. When I return to the area, this course will be on the replay list.
Good Course
This was a great track. The course was in pretty good shape. The greens Road really well.
Great Course
This is one of my favorite courses to play
Great lay out, very scenic, always in good shape, friendly staff what more is there to say
A Gem amongst the many.
I played the course as part of the Pre-Season World Amatuer in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Pearl was an excellent course with a staff that goes above and beyond the call to present for a great day. The course has a great layout that forces players to make shots, but gives the opportunity to score. It was a great day!!
well kempton and nice layout
played west and then north. a little damp but not bad. fairways were in good shape as well as tee boxes. greens rolled true but were a little slow. pace of play was 3 hrs 15 minutes. only downside was confusing scorecards in terms of which 2 9 holes I was playing. was told that trifiold score cards have been ordered. this would be a good thing. good value and would recommend to anyone.
Enjoyable round!
$46 on GolfNow. MiniVerde greens were in great shape - but definitely slow. Fairways overseeded and well kept. Some very scenic holes.Enjoyable round at a good price.
Good course
Do not understand the 3 star ratings. Nice course I enjoyed my round. Greens were great very good roll and good speed. Rank them close to the best. Would definitely recommend playing here Good layout good condition
Worth the 30 mile drive from Myrtle Beach
This course reminds all of our 4 ball of Woburn Dukes which is praise indeed. The layout is excellent, challenging but fair. Smooth fast greens rewards a good putt. The starter was an idiot who tried to drag us into an argument about Donald Trump and wouldn't leave us alone on the putting green. Needless to say when he was still there when we returned, we gave him a wide birth.
Pearl Dives
We have played here a number of times. Very disappointing this time, and not due to a hurricane. Roughs and fairways were uncut. Roughs almost unplayable. Questionable greens. Cart girl disappeared after 4th hole. $62 fee. Should have been $42, considering. What are you going to do after you’re on the 3rd hole? And, a 5 hour + round. No ranger.
Terrible conditions and condescending staff
Our foursome played this course yesterday with coupons from Group Golfer. It was in the worst shape ever primarily to the horrible rough. They didnt mention your ball will completely disappear if it goes 6 inches off the fairway. Worst and thickest rough we ever saw..round too almost 5 hours and no one in front of us. We wont go back anytime soon for sure. Greens are avg at best. Check in Guy was rude and seemed disinterested whether we came or not. No cart for drinks on the course on a stifling day of humidity.
I used to like this course but its gone downhill.
This is Pearl East not West which doesnt take tee times after 945. My guess is the rough there is the same...why cant they mow it???
Kicked out
Course manager world not let us play more than 9 holes. Upon finishing hole 7, the manager stopped our group and forced us to leave without refunding us for our unplayed holes although it was 7 pm and the sun was out and the weather was clear
As consistent as you’ll find.
Played this course several times on trips to the Myrtle Beach area and each time it plays just the same as the previous year. Greens were very good considering what everyone else in the area is dealing with. Fairways were in great shape as well. Tee Boxes could use a little Love on a few holes but all and all a very solid course.
The finishing 3-4 holes are always very challenging and the rest of the course presents a nice mix of links/parkland style play.
