The Pearl Golf Links - West Course

I am an occasional biweekly , I found the course to have it all . I would suggest getting better sand mix in the traps .

i had heard this was a premier course..wasn't my eperience..small greens w too much speed for the slope..dog legs that force you to use an iro. off the

tee and then.leave a long 2nd shot..trees in the middle ofthefairway..over all not fun..certaimly some pretty holes.. but i wont b back

This is a nice Course that we have played before, challenging and well maintained. The only complaint is the Couple we played with who were from out of State also arrived early and were treated rudely when asked if they could go out earlier than their tee time. I guess we can understand if the Course is busy but it was not we did not catch up to anyone until the 16th hole and the foursome was very slow. The couple I am referencing said that they were given a sarcastic comment that if they wanted to play earlier they should have made an earlier tee time. Our experience here in Myrtle Beach is if it is not busy and you arrive a little early most any course let’s you out. I think because it was a Hot Deal they had an attitude too bad as it left a bad taste for all of us.

My wife and I loved the layout of the course and the conditions were dry. Greens were very nice and fast. I would definitely play that course again and recommend it to friends.

bad news first ' I was in two "sand" traps holes 6 &13 and they were like playing off of a cart path good news did not have to rake them even golf spikes did not mark these bunkers. that said I enjoyed the rest of the course. have been here a few times but have only played the west course which I like better ,however both are good tracks

Course was wet in spots but rain the day before.

Not a $50 Golf course but a good value for $40- that we paid

It was a good course for 45. 00 it was a little tight for me and I am a 2 handicap. Number 13 was the only hole I did not like but over all I would play it again.

We had 4 free rounds , but there was only two of us so our plan was to play both courses . We played the East course first and were so turned off by everything that I gave away the remaining 2 rounds to someone I met in the parking lot . That should say it all . 5 plus hour round , stuck behind a foursome that could care less they were holding up the course . I told a range this and he didn't even bother to saying anything to them .

We arrived early for our tee time. The parking lot had very few cars in it. We checked in with the pro shop and was told as they did not get any money for our tee time, we would have to wait until our tee time, in case others showed up, that were paying customers. (We had the Hot Deal). They made sure to call the starter and tell him that also. We were made to feel like dirt. We have played this course in the past, not thru GolfNow and were very satisfied. We will not go back to that course and will also tell all of our friends to avoid it.

Good layout, Greens were not cut close and very slow. Course condition was OK, but fairways were also not mowed close. I think they had over seeded w/rye.

Tee boxes haven been mowed in a long time...greens haven't been mowed in a long time...fairways haven't been mowed in a long time...range tees unmowed...garbage. Course has been so nice in the past, layout is great. Horrible experience this trip. Won't be back again.

I get that they probably were in an over seeding phase, but there was no warning of the awful conditions. You couldn't even walk up to the green without sinking in mud greenside. Fairways were soaked as well. It hasn't rained significantly in the area for a few weeks!

We were very disappointed with the condition of the course. Tee boxes were not mowed, greens had debri all over them and they were more than just slow! The 'bathrooms' on the course were beyond awful. The toilets were black and rodent infested. If you can't keep up a bathroom then please don't offer one.

This course could be very nice if some attention was given to it. The layout it nice but it wasn't worth $50.

I was very happy with the course. Greens were awesome and the fairways were plush. Great layout. A must play if your in the area.

Enjoyed playing here and would play again but will try the the west course the next time. Course was in great shape.

Enjoyable course that is well maintained, except for the rough cart path which needs some work. Only complaint is that it lacks ball washers on carts and course.
