The Pearl Golf Links - West Course

Course was virtually empty...tees were poor, fairways had many dead spots, rough was unmowed , traps hard and not raked, and greens were awful. Dead spots, very hairy and slow. Play the west course now or don’t go there. Looks like the East is neglected. Shame because it is a decent layout.

Had a great day taking my wife out for her Mother's Day Present! (Yup, that's right!) First time here so was impressed with the solitude. Great pace and hardly saw another soul. (12:45 T-time) Tees and fairways are in great shape but the real treat were the greens. Lush green grass! A rarity this year after a tough winter.

This was the best of the 3 course we played this week. For sure to be on my list the next time I'm in Myrtle Beach

This is a great course! Played the East course.

The greens are very nice even this early, very slick on some putts! Nice views throughout the course, we really liked playing here and we'll return for sure!

The course has not filled in yet,greens are very tough ,the staff was very friendly.would play again.

Really challenging course. Nice layout and beautiful scenery. Greens are crazy fast & hole placement makes it really difficult for a decent score, but definitely a place I’ll play again.

By far the best greens that we have played on so far in the Little River area. Very friendly and courteous staff. Only downfall was the strong wind the day we played which made a challenging course even more difficult, but can`t complain too much when you are on the golf course all winter instead of home shovelling snow. HA!

Fun course to play, but requires alot of straight shots from the tee box in order to have a chance to get on the green in regulation. Par threes are challenging with well placed bunkers and ponds. Just my second game this year and pleased with score (87). We had a 1:30 tee time and had no delays and no one pushing us, however we only saw the beer cart once...sad

From someone that has played this course often over the past 15 years, I was disappointed to see how the on-course amenities have degraded over the years. There was one portable bathroom on the entire East course. Permanent bathroom facilities were all out-of-service. The women in our group were not happy about that.

All pin positions this day were 6' from the edge of the green, mostly at the back and mostly at a break in slope making it very difficult for recreational golfers.

My wife and played this course the staff were excellent,course was challenging but very playable,pace of play under 4hrs,nice scenery par 3s were tough bottom line great course would love to play it again.

layout was nice, staff good. The greens were to fast for public play. With tricky pin placements two putting from any distance was almost impossible. You probably need to play this course regularly to get a better feel for it. You would putt from 30 feet and go 15 past the hole. Would play again, but again for public play to fast greens slow down everyone.

Nice course greens in great condion for this time of year. The staff was friendly and layout was challenging enough.
