The course was in really good shape! challenging but not over the top! Pace of play was good! Fox squirrels all over the place, super friendly (almost too friendly..lol). People were very friendly, driving range was really nice! Great value for the Price!

First off my group are not the best group of golfers. We played as a 4some all teed off and the played best ball. On the 6th hole ranger was giving us the Hurry it up motion with his hand from 30 yards away. Mind you our cart said we were 8 minutes behind pace okay cool we get it. Next few holes we're down to 3 minutes behind and this dude is following us just off in the distance glaring. Felt kinda like we were being pushed through as it seemed other people did too as there were stray balls ALL OVER this course 6 on on green. It is what it is we didn't let it bother us but felt off putting. Anyway great course super fast greens cute squirrels. Might play again.

Waiting to long for guys to move on. Got to hot waiting and called it after 9 holes, too bad cause it was a great course. To many dudes taking their time, we play best ball to keep pace moving in this heat.

Played this course twice. Crazy over booked both times. Pace of play was terrible. GPS carts are overly sensitive. You can’t venture off of fairways or cart paths AT ALL. Tons of walking and defeats purpose of having a cart.

Course in good condition. Greens true and smooth. Fairways were cut the morning of our round which left extra cut grass all over the fairways. Maintenance was blowing off excess during round. Always like playing here. A nostalgic place to play.

Greens and new look are impressive, good job to groundskeeper and maintenance people for GREAT JOB.

I play this course several times a year and enjoy the "old school" feel...good layout with variety of holes...yesterday the greens were a bit rough as they had aeriated recently and really needed to run a roller over to smooth things out. If you haven't played here, it is well worth the effort.

I’ve played Rio several times, through the ups and downs. It was on the uptick this year and things were looking good. I teed off at 7:07 on 8/11/24. I was told at check in that no water was available until the bar opened at 11am, but there should be a beverage girl on the course. We never saw a beverage girl and there was no water available at any of the restrooms on the course. In Florida, in August, absolutely unreal, especially for the $53 green fee. Not to mention half the tee boxes were either unmowed or just straight dirt.

course was very backed up, tee time waited one hour and 2.5 hours to play 9 so we dropped off at nine.

Ok, so I booked a tee time when I arrived I was told that I had paired up and was now going off straight away (not in the 20mins) I had still to go the tees,fairways and greens had all been scarified and were bad had a lot of rain the night b4 and only nine was open so told we were playing that twice, then we got to nine green to play the 1st again loads of people Queuing and was told we would have to go behind them they didn’t even stop the t times to allow for the morning t times to play first for there back nine total shambles, not even offered a rain check?!

But I must say it seemed to be a great layout, and the club should tell people that the tees,greens,fairways just been scarified maybe they don’t in case of lost revenue!!

Course in overall good shape. Greens recently punched, all good. However, greens needed to be blown off, just filthy with debris, affecting putts noticeably.

The fairways and greens were in great shape. The tee boxes need work, but you tee it up most of the time. The new improvements have change some holes with more or bigger sand traps making a tight course even tighter. Track man Range is a nice perk and was included in our tee time price.

This course is the top value in Orlando at the moment. Staff was great, course was in excellent condition, track man range, and greens/fairways were in near perfect shape. Starter went over the recent changes to the course and scoring tips. Felt like a more top tier course.

I had a poor experience here in the past, and Tom (the GM) personally reached out and asked to give them another chance. Glad I did!
