Better than anticipated!
Nice to see a course replace the cart parts. Excellent job! Tough, small greens. Heavy on the houses dotted all along the front 9 but still ok.
Would go back.
Great little Gem
Great course for the cost. If I had one issue would be the bunkers need more sand. Over great course.
Great course with one major issue
I had a great time overall playing Burning Ridge for the first time. Course was in good condition. Greens were very soft but consistent. Fairways were ok but not great IMHO. The layout is great, 17 is a real challenge as is 4. The biggest issue is the cart paths. Pathetic condition and in major need of replacement. Despite that I will no doubt return.
Greens are getting better
I appreciate the effort of trying to fix the greens. Yes the greens are a bit tough on approach shots as they are pretty small but course layout is pretty good and pace of play is A-Ok.. for the price youre getting exactly what you paid for and then some! Staff is friendly and funny.
Went to the Beach
The course was challenging enough for me to work on getting out of sand traps.
I like it - may not be for everyone
Just have fun - don’t take your round too serious and it’ll be great. Otherwise you might get a little frustrated.
Don’t expect a whole lot
For a public course - the greens are TINY! And they are either super slow or super dry and fast. Course layout is wonky. If it rained the day before - the sand traps turn into mud puddles. I live 3 minutes away but I’ll consider driving further to go to another course for now on. The more I play other courses I realize that Burning Ridge ain’t it, chief.
Greens we absolute TRASH!!!
I selected this course for a practice round for 8 golf buddies before our annual 3 day tournament. The greens fees at $76 made me think it was a better course. The fairways were good, layout was good but the greens were among the worst I have played anywhere! Think 2 inch shack carpet! Rolled -5 on the stint that made putts randomly change direction. Whoever the course superintendent is needs rip that carpet up and start completely over with some bent or championship Bermuda. Invest in the most important aspect of your course!
