Wild Wing Plantation - Avocet Course

All grass areas were kept in very good condition. Traps needed machining. But a very good li is layout for golfers of all levels.

Shame on the foursome of high handicappers in front of me playing as a single for having me wait on every single shot and not waving me through. This does not affect my enjoyment of the conditions even with recently top-dressed greens they rolled very well!

Over all the course and staff was amazing! I will definitely play again in the future!

Course was in great condition other than the greens. The starter mentioned they had just done a top dressing a few days ago but the greens rolled fine.

One of my favorite courses I’ve played in Myrtle Beach area and would definitely play again.

Course was in great shape. Had a couple of slow groups in front of us that made the round take longer than usual, but had a great time.

Fairways in great condition for late July. Greens - great condition! Multi-level, we’ll protected, and challenging.

I love how they have kept the natural beauty of the course with minimal houses.

CON: there is no turn. So… pack your lunch!

It was my first time playing here, and I might play it again before I’m don’t on vacation. Greens were nice, a little sandy but not so bad it affected the roll on the ball. Mis-clubbed a few times due to wind, but it was a great experience. I forgot my golf shoes and got lost on my way there. I called about 30 min before my tee time to let them know and they were able to move me back a few tee times. They were super helpful and understanding!! I will be back at some point!

Great links style course, love the layout! It has playable holes and its in wonderful shape. Greens rolled true and the staff was friendly. Definitely will be back for another round!

Near perfect conditions tee to green, except one or two greens with very small stressed areas.

Lush - we played after heavy rains so ball didn’t bounce & roll.

Staff came around with water and checked on us continually.

Difficult - but manageable!

Great place to play a round of golf. I was paired with 2 members that were so fun to play with. Fantastic experience. Very scenic and unique compared to other courses in the Myrtle Beach area. Would play again with no hesitation.

The staff and the course was GREAT!

Booked through Golfnow and was overcharged!!!! All staff members tried to help but had to honor scheduled tee time through them but could not override how I booked.

Will not use Golfnow ever again!!!!

Played here on our way out of town and the layout is phenomenal. Pace of play was a little disappointing but the conditions of the course more than made up for it.

This is our second time playing Wild Wing and we enjoyed it both times. It's priced lower than a lot of courses in Myrtle and it's still a very solid course.

The layout is a little tight on the front nine. None of the holes are unfair or too difficult, just kind of tight. After hole 10, the layout is more open and enjoyable. There's a decent amount of water and a lot of large bunkering throughout the course. The greens are fairly small. It looks like they used to be larger based on the spacing between bunkers and the greens on many holes.

The course was in good shape. The tee boxes and fairways were very green. A few greens had some thin spots, but they were in better shape than the two other courses we've played this trip.

Overall, Wild Wing is a very good course for a reasonable price.
