Grand Canyon University Golf Course

1st time here with a very good experience..The Staff was most pleasant and helpful.

Conditions on the course were very good and the greens were EXCELLENT, true roll and smooth surfaces.

Overall I would plan on playing here again when I return to Scottsdale.

Reasonably priced as well

Lost a lot of balls that were just off the fairway. The rough was super deep and swallowed the ball up. Impossible to hit out of. I think the course was set up for a college tournament.

The course was in great shape (mostly). The grass areas were just about perfect. The only negative I had was the condition of the bunkers, the grooming of the bunkers definitely does not match the rest of the course. The layout is great and it has a great mixture of hard, medium and gettable holes.

Haven’t played here in a while. Besides the building to the right of the 9th tee being torn down, not much has changed. Course is in good condition, greens played well. Lots of sand and trees everywhere and I found most of them. The staff is ALWAYS extremely friendly.

Used to be called Maryvale and was pretty “used up” and low end. Since the university took over they’ve significantly upgraded the course - it’s much more fun to play, and in much better shape. But they seem to have added 4-5 extra bunkers per hole, so sand is a risk on almost every hole. This is one of my wife’s favourites now so we play it every time we’re in town.

Course itself was in fabulous condition hats off to the ground crew,

it's a shame so many people don't use the sand provided on the golf cart to fix their divots if not there's at least for the idiots who don't fix their own but then again that's like asking people to write the sand trap when they're done also so I guess it is what it is.

As for the staff it seemed like a bunch of mishmash adolescent children trying to run the show. I guess they were just there to get college a credit towards their masters in golf course front desk cart service attendance professionals, in my day they just called it underwater basket weaving how times have changed.

Slow and sloppy. 7am tee time was soooo wet and sloppy. Rough was long, pace was very slow.

This is a great golf course. It’s in beautiful shape and very well maintained. The course is difficult but very good. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely play it again.

Not bad for the price. Most tee boxes had long grass, greens were OK. Extremely slow pace, no Marshall.

Course in pretty good shape, but way too slow. Took 5 hours to play, and I teed off at 7am. No Marshall, no accountability. Feel bad for anyone that teed off mid morning, they are gonna be stuck out there for 6+ hours.

Move to 10 minute tee times, and quit letting singles without tee times jump in between groups!

Very nice golf course. Greens were smooth and true. Thought layout was slightly bland.
