About
Grand Canyon University Golf Course (formerly known as Maryvale Municipal Golf Course) offers an 18-hole track designed by Ted Robinson, Sr. and built in 1961. The par-71 golf course measures 7,269 yards from the championship tees and is open year-round.
The Bermuda grass Grand Canyon University Golf Course gets plenty of shade during the summer, thanks to several onsite trees, and features flat and wide fairways.
The fourth hole, for one example, is a 160-yard par-3 where you'll have to shoot over the water - and past the brick wall that separates the green from the water.

Nice warm up course
Flat, difficult to get in trouble( I still find a way). Bunkers right at driving distance.
GCU- traps!!
Lot’s, and lot’s of very deep sand traps with minimal sand.
Easy to blade shots and believe me, you’ll end up in several. Otherwise course is fair, challenging
Heads up- minimal or no restrooms on the course, at least I did not find any other than the obvious clubhouse location.
Course was in great shape. Tee boxes are level, bunkers are filled with good sand. Lots of tall bunkers surrounding greens. Greens were quick and hard to read. Only issue was the holes look like they hadn't been cut or moved all winter, and were very dull, a little frustrating.
Decent course
Over crowded… and felt like it was more about cramming people in to make money and not care king about the experience.
Very friendly staff, playable course. Greens were in great condition. We had a very enjoyable time.
Solid Golf Course
Enjoyable round. Greens run smooth. Pace of play was good. The green side bunkers are deep and punishing. I enjoyed the layout.
Nice day
Played with two other nice folks. Good condition. Not very many memorable holes. A little boring.
