About
Grand Canyon University Golf Course (formerly known as Maryvale Municipal Golf Course) offers an 18-hole track designed by Ted Robinson, Sr. and built in 1961. The par-71 golf course measures 7,269 yards from the championship tees and is open year-round.
The Bermuda grass Grand Canyon University Golf Course gets plenty of shade during the summer, thanks to several onsite trees, and features flat and wide fairways.
The fourth hole, for one example, is a 160-yard par-3 where you'll have to shoot over the water - and past the brick wall that separates the green from the water.

Awesome time!
Awesome time! This is a great course with a lot of trees. Very professional staff. Highly recommend.
Course was in good shape. Greens faster, but true.
Stay below the holes. Played the Black/white tees. Enjoyable round, will go back.
Bunkers Make it Difficult
Lots of deep bunkers. Very fast greens. If it wasn’t for the bunkers and fast greens this would be a very easy course. I love the tall mature trees and nice clubhouse and the GCU students working make the place welcoming.
Slow
Very slow play w no marshall will prevent me from returning. Too bad as course is in good condition
There was a golf delay due to frost in the morning which backed up golf for everyone. We had purchased the afternoon discounted rate for 18 holes but only got to hole 13 before it started getting too dark to play.
Otherwise all 5 stars!

University course that gets it right
The routing and design is top notch with great conditions but the atmosphere and vibe is just as good! Cant wait to play it again
Amazing Greens
Greens are the star of the show at this course. Very receptive, fast and roll true. Fairways are nice and green. Rough is dormant and a lot of the dead grass will give you extremely tight lies.
Great bang for buck.
Pace was slow . No marshal in site. Greens were in excellent shape.
Fun course
We had a great time. A little miffed that at one point the ranger tried to speed us up, implying that we were slow, when we played the full 18 in only 3 hours 15 mins.
Otherwise, all was good and we look forward to returning.
