Villa de Paz Golf Course

Fun course to play, pace of play to slow about 5 hours. greens were good with good speed.

It took almost 5 hours to play this round and we didn't get to tee of until a half hour late. This course seems to play slow a lot. The greens are fast. No desert areas except for dirt. The price was good, but too many groups backed up the whole way around.

Staff forgot our tee time left us sitting waiting, until I ask how far behind they were they said they weren't. It was then discovered that they passed over us and had eliminated us from the rotation. One gentleman even wanted to suggest we just didn't sign in. The other did set him straight and admitted his mistake. They then passed us over for several groups trying to find a two some to join us. When that didn't work they sent a young man to give us a 10$ refund to attempt to appease us. and sent us out as twosome. I felt there actions were very poor at best. The course played well and the greens were very good.

This course needs some work but the greens are very good. If you can keep it in the fairway, lots of grass,. If you are in the rough, no overseeding, outside to rough you get dirt!

overall not a bad course for the money.reasonable shape and the greens were decent.

Played for $40 including lunch. Golf course needs some work, hard fairways with many bare spots. Greens are fast but very smooth.

great price, but needs a ton of water everywhere! front 9 greens were very brown and dry. tee boxes were the same way.

A lot of bare spots throughout the course with patchy grass. Number 10 pin was 10 f eet from an edge that was downhill into the water. Impossible to keep the ball on the green and out of water from any position on the green. Who does that?? Fairways and greens extremely hard, like playing on pavement.

Only played here once so far. Course is fairly tight, but the greens are well kept and fast. It seems to be an older course that could use a llittle TLC, but is fun to play.

Pace of play was very slow, we teed off more than 30 minutes after our scheduled tee time.

The greens were in excellent condition, rolling quite fast but allowed action on the ball with the approach shots and chips. Accurate shots and course management were necessary as drives could leave you in dire straights due to the contour of the fairways.Had a great time playing this course and look forward to returning.

This course needs a lot of TLC and fast. Tee boxes are covered with broken tees and duck and goose feces all over.
The fairways are really bad and the bunkers are hard as rocks.
The ponds are disgusting and filthy.
Before I play there again I will check it out a lot .

Great for the money but course needs some attention. Overall enjoyed my round of golf.

Course is in fair shape. Fairways are horrible so before u start its a good idea to agree on lift clean and place,if u can find a decent spot to place. The greens are good and the tee boxes need alot of work espcially from the back tees where i think they forgot their in play too,got to mow them every once and a while. The pace of play was good but it ought to be since we went off 3 rd. As always their staff are great. Nicer conditions are coming with the heat probably wont play their again until then.

This has always been one of my favorite courses to play despite the conditions. Have played here where it has been in much better shape after overseed. Have played this course since 2001 and right now it is in the worst shape ever and needs much TLC to get our group back. There is a lot of areas where there was once grass, that is now dirt. Greens were OK. It is too bad they are letting it go to the levels it is at. Paid $40(with tax) and it is about a $25 course at best right now. We will steer clear for a while and go to other nearby courses and check back at a later date. Not a good place to play right now.

Really disappointed with the front nine, greens in tough shape fairways even worse. The description was highly exaggerated. the back 9 was nice, like you were on another course. Ok for the price but probably wouldn't go again. People walking course in your way.

This a good course for the price we paid. It is not a $50 dollar course, so don't expect a $50 course. However, if you stay on the fairway it plays decently. The greens are good.

this would be a great course if it were taken care of. I realize it is an old course & the homes surrounding the holes are all in poor shape, but if I didn't find a deal to play for $15 a person, I would NEVER pay full green fee of $30+. Totally not worth anything over $15/person.

The course played very slow but we kind of expected it. the fairways were in poor condition but overall I would recommend it to a friend who wanted to save some money... the Greens rolled through and were very fast
