About
Designed by Lloyd Clifton, Westchase winds through acres of lakes, conservation areas and forest. It offers manicured greens surrounded by natural wetlands, wooden bridges and bulkheads. With its 9,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, full-service dining room, and fully stocked pro shop, Westchase offers a country club atmosphere along with first-class service. The golf club has established itself as one of Tampa Bay's best upscale golf facilities. The front nine meander through an impressive pine forest. The back nine -- which is demanding on the tee shot -- features lakes, wetlands and cypress. Strategically placed bunkers, more sparkling lakes and stands of cypress, oak, palmetto and pine frame the fairways and greens. Signature Hole No. 3, at 212 yards from the back tee, is all you can handle -- It's a Par 3 all-carry over water from the back tee!

West chase
The course was the winner today. Staff especially starter were great. Love the layout. Good conditions only complaint is that no one was raking traps. Will be back

This course is one of the best in Tampa area in very good condition.
Westchase review
I am on Golf vacation from Michigan and a low handicap. I thought it was a good, interesting layout. Not extremely hard but a good variety of holes. Greens were not so good. Slow and pretty bumpy from all the ball marks.
Really good shape
One of the best conditioned courses around for the money. Greens are decently fast and smooth. Fairways are pretty nice for the most part. Right now is the best time to play if you are looking for a course to show off to your out of town guest

Solid course
Played early and done in less than 3 1/2. Overall, course in nice shape. Enjoyable time.
Premium course! Very challenging in a good way. Got to keep ball in play. Can’t believe slope of this course was only 118 from the whites. Good lies all day, greens putted true. Only mild criticism would be many traps with only one rake so too many foot prints. Over an hour drive return in evening traffic but will definitely return
Tough Course
Beautiful, well-maintained, but toughest course I've ever played. Water on every hole, very narrow fairways, a lot of blind shots.
