About
Designed by Lloyd Clifton, Westchase winds through acres of lakes, conservation areas and forest. It offers manicured greens surrounded by natural wetlands, wooden bridges and bulkheads. With its 9,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, full-service dining room, and fully stocked pro shop, Westchase offers a country club atmosphere along with first-class service. The golf club has established itself as one of Tampa Bay's best upscale golf facilities. The front nine meander through an impressive pine forest. The back nine -- which is demanding on the tee shot -- features lakes, wetlands and cypress. Strategically placed bunkers, more sparkling lakes and stands of cypress, oak, palmetto and pine frame the fairways and greens. Signature Hole No. 3, at 212 yards from the back tee, is all you can handle -- It's a Par 3 all-carry over water from the back tee!

Great layout with a lot of water. Greens were slow and unpredictable
Pretty good
Course staff was really kind and accommodating. Very good. And fairways all around 18 holes are like carpeted. Excellent
NOT WOTH YOUR MONEY VALUE (1 star)
I’m not sure how this gets such high ratings, the greens are in horrible conditions with more divot pot marks thank cam be expected making accurate putting possible. The Tee boxes were actually pretty good, fairways were ok but marshy in places. The sand bunkers were like concrete. Golf carts don’t even have range finders or anything. I understand all the snowbirds are down here and every courses rates are super inflated but the price is not worth the admission and would rather play Heritage Isles, cheval or drive to Orlando before playing here again.
Staff was super friendly. Pace was good if you tee off in the first few groups of golfers, carts were clean, clubhouse was nice but not staff when hitting the turn. The food and drink cart was available around 9 and super friendly, putting green is nice also.
All of this earned a 3 star rating but as a course and price only rating would be a 1.
Well maintained
First time around Westchase and really enjoyed it. A bit of everything there. Beautiful cart path with wood bridges through many wet areas. Greens were quick t- box's we're in great shape. Played on a Monday afternoon and pase of play was fine. A bit odd the bar was closed when we made our turn at 4pm.
West chase
The course was the winner today. Staff especially starter were great. Love the layout. Good conditions only complaint is that no one was raking traps. Will be back

This course is one of the best in Tampa area in very good condition.
Westchase review
I am on Golf vacation from Michigan and a low handicap. I thought it was a good, interesting layout. Not extremely hard but a good variety of holes. Greens were not so good. Slow and pretty bumpy from all the ball marks.
Really good shape
One of the best conditioned courses around for the money. Greens are decently fast and smooth. Fairways are pretty nice for the most part. Right now is the best time to play if you are looking for a course to show off to your out of town guest

Great time at Westchase. Pro shop staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this course.
Solid course
Played early and done in less than 3 1/2. Overall, course in nice shape. Enjoyable time.
