About
The Country Club of Hilton Head rambles over a variety of terrain, including rolling, open expanses, pine and oak woodlands and freshwater ponds and marshlands. Each hole is distinctive, as a golfer must negotiate water hazards, contoured fairways, pot bunkers and sculpted bunkers, and grass hollows.This facility features constant elevation tees, landing areas and greens, as well as the only punch bowl-shaped green in the area. The Country Club of Hilton Head layout also features 3 doglegs, undulating and tiered greens and two par-5's that stretch more than 575 yards in length. An excellent, fair test of golf for all skill levels.

Awesome greens. Played two other courses in the area and these greens were far superior. Very nice driving range and course was in overall great shape.
Tremendous layout
The course was in spectacular shape. The greens and fairways were fantastic the tee boxes could be better. The course offers challenging tee shots and great approaches. The greens roll great and everything about this course is picturesque.
Awesome Track
Had a great time playing here today. Booked on golfnow and was running late but guys in the pro shop got me out still. Greens were in fantastic shape and Gary in the pro shop helped me tremendously with with some information. Thanks CCHH, will be back.
Awesome Round
played the Course first time. Best ever greens we had in HHI! Consistently fro G1 to G18 in speed and quality. Great Layout. Only complain could be to expensive practice Balls.

Great Course for quality and value!
The day began with very helpful and kind staff. Met another couple who were seeking the same, an enjoyable but quality round of golf. Never disappointed at Cc of HH! Excellent day with my wife with exceptional conditions. 10/10. Greens were about a 12 for speed! Fairways were also great.
Course condition
Course was in good condition but do to rain the night before it was cart path only all day. We played in the afternoon and there was no reason to keep to keep it cart path only. It really slowed the pace of play.

Greens are Firm fast and true. Great track overall it will work every aspect of your short game if you miss these greens!!
Great greens!
My son and I played Country Club of Hilton Head this afternoon and we found the course in very nice shape. The greens rolled true and fast—the practice green was a great representation of the green speed on the course. I managed to find my way into two green side bunkers and they were well conditioned. We will definitely be back.
The staff members we encountered were very courteous and helpful.
We love playing here
Playing at The Country Club is an experience like playing as a guest at a private club.
From the bag drop, through check in at the ProShop, and then the interaction with the starter, and finally with the guys back at the bag drop, it’s all so very pleasant.
The course layout is great, and playing from the forward green tees is perfectly user friendly for us 75+ year olds..
And, the course is in great shape for March.
PLUS, the bunkers are well groomed and nice to play out of.......although we would prefer to just stay away from them

Greens and fairways in great shape. Always fun to play this course on a gorgeous day. Slow play due to beginners in front of us.
Best condition for March
Played many courses in Feb thru April on and around Hilton Head island. CC of HH is in best shape of any. Greens in perfect condition already, fast and true. Good layout for all skill levels....white tees are not too short!

The course was in excellent shape, greens smooth and quick, and layout was very challenging! Clubhouse was closed at 5:30 which was disappointing.
Fast greens
Despite every tee time being booked we finished in 4 hours and 5 minutes as a foursome. The greens were faster than what we played previously in the area. The fairways and greens were in good shape. The rough was hard and patchy even when just off the fairway. We would recommend this course.
A fun 9 holes
This is the fourth time we have played this course. You learn that positioning rather than distance is important on this course. Great value for money he money.
Cold Golf Day In South Carolina
It was a bright sunny 38 deg. morning when I teed off at 7:45 A.M. at The Country Club of Hilton Head. Being from MN. I'm use to this kind of spring weather golf, so it didn't bother me. the course was in fabulous shape. I'd rate it the best course I've played in Hilton Head over the years. The greens were immaculate and consistent. It was just a fun course to play and in a beautiful setting. For a few years I thought it was a private club and was pleasantly surprised when I was able to get on. I will definitely play it again.
