Myrtle Beach National Golf Club - West Course

Played the Kings Course in the morning and was able to get a quick tee time for afternoon but unfortunately they sent 2 extremely slow foursomes out and they slowed everyone down. No rangers monitoring pace of play which was disappointing because it would have made a difference.

Course was in fair shape but had a lot of wear and tear. It seemed to be overwatered because it was muddy in multiple spots. Wasn’t impressed at all.

First time playing in Myrtle Beach and this course was great. One thing I enjoyed is there were NO houses on the course. And great layout Arnold Palmer design. I would play again

Was paired with a couple of really nice guys fast round and great experience

Very impressed with the whole experience here. Very nice course for the "average" golfer. Staff is very friendly,helpful and welcoming. Course was in very good shape with just enough variations and traps to keep things interesting.

The pace of play was slow. Held up a lot on back nine.

Course was in decent condition.

Would play here again, but expect slower round.

Nothing special about the course. Course conditions were good - greens slow.. enjoyed it but wouldn’t pay $70+ to play there again

The west course very ehh, was very average and very boring, the hole layouts are very basic with nothing really going on, the actual condition of the course was good other than the trash tee boxes.

Not a bad course. Not that interesting though, really. I paid $72 for the found. The guy I played with paid $62 for two rounds plus lunch. So I think the ‘deal’ I got on Tee-Off wasn’t really that great a deal. I should have looked elsewhere for a package.

Course was in pretty good shape though. We started on 10 but on reaching 1 we were backed up behind a 3 ball and 4 ball. So the first 9 took 1 hour 45. Back 9 took close to 3 hours. That wasn’t good and my playing started to suffer a lot because of the up to 20 minute wait time between holes. The staff should have done more to keep up the pace of play.

All the staff inside were warm and friendly. The guy who greeted me on arrival was a tad aggressive. I’d come back, perhaps, but not at a busy time.

I liked the layout. Didn't have my A game, but got around just fine.

Conditions are very good for this time of year. Good value for the money.

The staff is super friendly. I'll be back to play the North Course in the future.

No Marshall on the course to control pace of play. Waiting for every single shot, then golf is no fun anymore. We thought about to quit after 14 holes but with respect to our partners in the group we finished all 18 holes but it was no fun at all anymore!
