Slow slow play didn’t finish the round . To much money

I scheduled a very early tee time so that my group could catch a 3:00 flight later that day. Front nine was perfect! When we got back to the clubhouse, we were told to wait for 45 minutes before playing the back nine. Pace of play is impossible to maintain at this course with the double booking practices. Belligerent management attitude in their booking policies. This is a one and done.

There were a few odd things like a couple of over-waterer greens and collars (ie. plugged balls) and some un-level tee boxes . . . but other than that, this was a fun course to play, with generous fairways in spite of all the water that appeared on the scorecard. It was helpful to have a phone app with the actual course layout because the scorecard was not entirely representative.

For the most part, greens, fairways and bunkers were in excellent shape.

Pace of play was fantastic as we never waited for a single shot. We were a 9:30 threesome.

Course conditions were okay, but priced to high and pace of play was awful. If a course tells you we are running 40 minutes behind when you arrive, they failed to do their job. Don’t blame it on a group playing slow. The issue is tee times are to close together and ranger is not making sure people are keeping pace.

Great place. Everything was well taken care and in great shape.

Check in was good, a little crazy with a lot of players and bags all in this area as you wait to be assigned a cart. Practice area was OK, nothing special but good enough to get warm and putt. Good layout, plenty of water and sand. Conditions were pretty average, greens a bit bumpy. The pace of play was not good (5+ hours). Still had an enjoyable day, would go back...

We enjoyed playing the course. It was in excellent condition. A couple of very difficult holes for the average golfer. Back nine got a little confusing? There are three holes with greens close together where you are wondering which green you are actually playing. This course has the most unusual cart policy I have every heard of. You don’t get assigned a cart until it is your time to head to the first tee? Not allowed to load, take it to the range or putting green? Strange? The most rude starter we had ever encountered.
