Man O' War Golf Course

Just aerated no notice on that still charging regular rate Fairways in good shape all the greens had quarter inch holes which may putting horrendous

I would give 0 stars if I could. I am from South Carolina and visit the area to golf often. I tell everyone to avoid this golf course. I went down there with a couple of other active duty military and attempted to reserve a tee time through the golf now app. I kept getting an error code that said the tee times were no longer available. Apparently this was not the case and it had given me Tee times. I went through Golf Now to resolve the issue and they in turn went to Man O’ War to issue a refund for two tee times at roughly 8:15 and 8:20 (not exactly prime real estate since we were trying to make tee times pretty late into Labor Day weekend and they were still available). Man O’ War said they did not care if the app that supports reservations at their golf club was having problems or that GolfNow deemed a refund justified. Pretty harsh treatment for someone who has a network of golfers in the area and visits often. I will never play this course again. At least have the penalty for a no-show, regardless of the circumstances, not include amenities that were clearly not enjoyed. $400 is the most expensive 18 holes of golf I never played. I can take solace only in the knowledge that they are too shortsighted to realize the return on investment of helping someone.

The course was in great shape. Pace of play was good. It was a long course and was wide open. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely play it again.

Was able to share a very good place to play with family from New Jersey. First time for all of us and even though the course was wet from a drenching rain we had a great time. Course was in good shape, like the openness to it and played fairly for all of us. I’ll definitely come back again!

Fun and challenging course layout in good conditions. Greens were a bit soft when I played, so they were not fast but we’re in good shape.

Our tee time was 8:04 on 8/6/22, the course layout was open but also challenging because the water was in play on most holes. The only issue we had was the greens were sandy and I’m guessing it was from recent aero. of the greens. They rolled well even for the circumstances but would recommend playing for anyone looking for a good round that isn’t over priced.

The course is in great shape. From fairways to bunkers and greens everything was well taken care off. The layout is challenging but lots off room if you slice the ball. Beautiful hole layouts to take the picture, we really enjoy the round. The beverage cart was checking with us ever few holes. I would definitely play here again.

This is one of the nicest courses we played in Myrtle Beach.

I in joyed the corse lots of bugs little annoying but bitting but fun to play

This course was absolutely breath taking. Fairways, greens, bunkers, etc. was in prime condition. Every time I come back here I will make sure to play this course!

Simply put, this is a must play course at Myrtle Beach. Man O’ War has it figured out. Staff were all welcoming, kind, and passionate in a laid back manner. It is evident of the care of the course through great conditions and welcoming staff. The course itself is unique and provides challenging holes as well as holes to attack. Due to the atmosphere that the staff has created and unique course experience, we will definitely be back in the future.

Extremely well maintained from tee to green.

Greens are large, immaculate and roll true.

Visually beautiful with water everywhere, including a couple island greens and an island fairway , but…not as intrusive as you would think. (I did dunk 3 balls though)

Certainly not easy, but…. not overly too hard, at least from the senior tees. I played with another senior and we both enjoyed the day and course.

Staff was friendly.

They allow coolers and have a cart girl, too.

The ranger came by on both nines and gave us cold, wet towels.

Only small negative was slow pace of play, (4.5 hours) We had to wait almost every hole, but… it was a Saturday afternoon and there were foursomes in front of us.

Overall, an excellent course that I would play again.

Driving range out of order. Putting green had no cups. They were all laying beside the green. Overall great course.

Open layout, friendly staff, great condition, and played at our own pace without any issues.
