Man O' War Golf Course

Great layout very well kept fairways and greens. Not a very difficult course by any means, but it is very fun and has its challenges.

Really cool course with wider open play than you would think. Couple home cooking holes with water you have to watch for at the end of the driving area. Greens were rough and slow. Wouldn’t recommend it right now because of that.

The course was in near perfect condition. The greens were a tad slow. Came up from Florida and we were pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend playing this course

The greens were punched which was disappointing but overall the course was in good shape.

First off, this is a very unique course... Water on virtually every hole which can be challenging. The staff was super friendly. Pace of play was excellent. But, wish we had been told the greens were still recovering from being puched. For over $80 a round I would have played somewhere else where the greens were better. Fairways and tee boxes were in excellent condition! I would say the greens may need another couple weeks to fully fill in and then the $80 price point could be justified.

Course was in excellent condition a lot of water but beautiful layout. I would definitely go back. Its on of my new favorites in Myrtle Beach

Played here for the first time today. I’ll defiantly come back! Course layout was wide open with large fairways. Grounds were in great condition. It wasn’t crowded on a holiday weekend which was a plus. The staff was very friendly!

Course is in excellent condition. Great layout of holes. The greens are extremely slow. They claim they don’t mow them short in the summer months, in fear of losing some. I agree they need water but you can have a championship course with green that roll this slow. It’s really unacceptable.

If we lived closer we would definitely become members. This course is so much fun to play. The water becomes a big part of play on the back nine. Fun yet challenging. Only wish hole 1 has better signage on which way to go. We will be looking at playing the sister courses when we go back toward MB!

I played Man O War for the first time this week. I’ve vacationed in North Myrtle Beach 8 times and played several different courses every year I stayed here including the courses on Pawleys Island. Man O War is the most fun course I have played in SC. Every hole is picturesque with water in play on almost every hole. The course was in fantastic condition with beautiful bunkers and just gorgeous scenery. For the price you will probably not find a better course in SC. I will definitely be playing here again and will definitely be recommending this course to anyone I know who is going to visit Myrtle Beach.

Had to wait on the group ahead of us every shot. Other than that the coarse was great!

Really wonderful day playing Man O’War! Tees were in great shape, fairways were really nice and rough was short & playable. We invoked a 2-putt max rule cuz the greens still had aeration holes from a week or so ago. Overall great time and will be back!

Wet and soggy due to Debby but fun. Lots of water carries however no long rough. Pace of play very good. All straight holes, nary a dog leg. Greens were slow. Will definitely return when not so wet.
