Chimera Golf Club

The greens were bumpy, recently aerated I think but other than that the course was in about pristine condition for middle of summer. Drink cart was out, only saw once, maybe twice I think over the 18 I think. Can play difficult in the wind but just a decent solid test, some doglegs, different choices off the tee. Pace was god awful however, probably just over 5 hours for 18, a 5-7 min wait every hole at a minimum.

Some of the fairways were in somewhat bad condition but overall course was good.

The greens were pretty fast, and the rough was mostly weedy. As with most courses in the summer in the desert, just couldn’t find enough grass, so played the ball up. Play was very slow, as we waited on every tee. Course layout and conditions were good, and I would like to play again when the heat dies down. No real cool areas as the best sort of sits in this valley. Operator error, admittedly.

Visiting Vegas? Add Chimera to your list of courses to play. Quality surface. Nice mix of hole design and variety. Good all around experience for the money.

This course is the best all around value in the entire valley. It is a bit of a drive to get there and lots of construction but it is a growing community with lots of infrastructure being built.

The course is challenging enough for all levels of golfers. The only drawback is the bunkers. No sand and hard packed. Should be treated as ground under repair. Get the bunkers fixed and this would be a classic course to enjoy. .

Course was nice and fair. Located in a private estate and very nice. 30min outside strip. Every hole was fair and fun. No one in front and done in less than 4 hours. Member rate I believe around 50, non-residents $100. Maybe fair price for course in Las Vegas if a non-resident. Played with 3 locals who were very nice. Greens excellent and fringe low so could putt to green very easily.

Course was in horrible shape. I play different courses every Fridays. It’s the worst condition in Las Vegas. Water logged every where except on the grass area. Cart path was dusty, tee boxers were okay but fairways were in terrible shape. I will NOT recommend Chimera Golf to my other buddies. I feel like I got screwed and wasted my time playing there!!!

Could not pass up the Hot Deal price to play. Overall conditions were pretty good, with some dried out/bare areas on the fairway. Greens and tee boxes were really good. I heard the bunkers were hard sand/dirt although I managed to avoid them. It was really hot out however and we were very overheated by the end, despite a fan, cooling towel and planty of water. Will return when it cools off a little.

Great course. Staff was amazing and for that price point, it really can’t be beat. A great water hazard at 9 (which of course I donated a ball too). Will go again

This course will give u a great golf workout especially in the hot weather

Course was great, there was a few spots where it’s under construction but no a huge deal. Wry good greens, great fairways and overall a very nice course!

Will definitely play it again!

I have played this course many times and really enjoy playing here. PRO TIP...Tee off with a colored ball from #1. It is next to the driving range.

course is in ok condition. greens are slow from the aeration.

bunkers need more sand... or rake it prior to playing your shot as the club will just bounce immediately from the hard ground.

otherwise it's a beautiful layout !!!
