Chimera Golf Club

Course was great and staff very friendly . But we were stuck behind a slow group that held up the whole course but they did not care and neither did any official monitoring the course. The group twice stopped in the middle of their play to get drinks from the cart girl. The course management should coach their cart girls to encourage players to not hold up play while getting drinks. Chimera can and should do better.

On the front when you describe the course. It said11 or 12 miles to the course from my 89128. Its 25 miles from my house.

Great course, especially at the Hot Deal price! Some bare spots and grounds under repair but nothing out of the ordinary with the summer we’ve had. Only complaint was there wasn’t any sand in the bunkers, playing out of compact dirt.

Fun course, some of the green aprons are ground under repair and some of the bunkers are hard and dry so getting out is more difficult than usual but fun course. I liked the layout, long par 3s to challenge yourself. Lot of straight holes to help cut some strokes.

Pleasant outing for golf on the day. Fairways and greens are exposed to high winds due to layout of the course. Challenging, forces course management.

This course had awesome staff, the course itself played amazing with great conditions, ad even the food was good. At the price point I’d say it is easily the best bang for your buck 100% will be going back. The views were also immaculate.

More water needed on all grass .

Really a great place to play.

Course was decent, not great. I played here years ago and seem to remember it being nicer. But, it is late August and every course is suffering from the heat. My tee time was 6:20a. No coffee or food but, there were snacks. Played in about 3 hours which is nice. No water on the course but, there was two water bottles on the cart and we saw the cart girl a few times.

Could’ve offered more water, being that there was no cart person going around.

We always enjoy playing here. Great layout with some very challenging holes especially 9 and 18.

Overall course was in good shape. A few spots on the fairways were a tad thin. The greens were great!

Nice layout. Conditions were not the best but it has been extremely hot for quite awhile. All in all a good track for the money.

Excellent pace no one in front or behind played 18 in 2hrs 20 minutes my partner was Mike..fairways very fast due to getting ready for overseeding which was fine greens were excellent..gal at starter desk very friendly..be back again as usual

Yes.i got me a hold in one #6 hold For a 150 yard.

The greens were bumpy, recently aerated I think but other than that the course was in about pristine condition for middle of summer. Drink cart was out, only saw once, maybe twice I think over the 18 I think. Can play difficult in the wind but just a decent solid test, some doglegs, different choices off the tee. Pace was god awful however, probably just over 5 hours for 18, a 5-7 min wait every hole at a minimum.
