Chimera Golf Club

Overall a nice course to play, especially for the rates we got in the afternoon through GolfNow. Range balls were not in great condition, but served the purpose to get a few swings in before playing. Course was in great shape with a fun, challenging layout. Houses along the course can be too close in my opinion, especially with the wind we played in that day. Players that have a hard time keeping it in the middle with the wind will feel challenged most of the day. Pace of play was average to other public courses and the food at the 19th was solid. Would recommend to anyone looking to play in the Lake Las Vegas area.

Most of the fairways are nice & wide. Only 3 or 4 holes where water comes into play. Some of the fairway grass was a little barren but it's better than what I recall from the last time I played here 3 or 4 years ago. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The driving range was mats only.

This is my third time golfing here and I truly enjoy it. The staff are kind, friendly, helpful and just great overall. The food is amazing and it’s a really beautiful course. There are literally views of the strip from the course. It’s not pretentious, just enjoyable. I highly recommend it. Great vibe overall.

Played on a late time on a weekday and conditions were good but a bit breezy. Pace was very good but greens were really grainy and slow. otherwise course was in good condition. i sure hope they do something about hole #3 soon

Fun course. In great shape. Not the longest, but fun none the less. Staff was super friendly. We were an early tee time and paired with a couple of members. On the third hole they said, "you know what's going on here, right? There is a shotgun start, and we'll catch them around the 8th hole, we just drop off at that point. You'll have a slow round." From the seventh on it was slow..... We had nothing else to do that day, but we figured teeing off at 7am might avoid some slow play. Otherwise a nice place.

No problems at all. Course was in great shape,greens were fast but not ridiculous. Round was completed in an average time along with starting at our scheduled tee time. I can't stand when things are backed up and it is only 10a.m. Great job. Lunch was very good and staff was great. Look forward to next year..

Course was still very plush & in great shape. The weather was crappy this particular day, but the staff was still as friendly & helpful as ever! The pace of play was good on this day, but I’m thinking that may have been weather related. Thanks again to staff … we’ll be back!

This course for a very long time was one of my favorites..It fell into very poor condition after the pandemic but i was very pleased to see it come back into shape.Greens and fairways nice again

The course was in wonderful shape. Fairways and greens were cut and rolled nice. The course was beautiful and lush green especially almost forgot I was playing in the desert. Would definitely play aagin.

Even though we never slowed anyone down behind us, we were forced to skip a hole due to our pace of play. We got rushed to finish our round.

In 20+ years of play, I was never forced to skip a hole. The marshals followed us for a few holes after they made us skip the 8th hole with nobody in the fairway behind us.

The pro shop didn’t have anything to say besides we were behind the pace of play for the course.

We play golf to enjoy ourselves, not to get rushed around.

We will not consider playing there again.

This place just made us skip a hole because we were 11 minutes behind pace. Never in my 30 plus years of golfing has this happened. There was no group waiting behind us and as soon as they warned us to speed it up we did so immediately. Exactly one hole after the warning (hole 16) because apparently we took a while on hole 15, they said we had to skip 17 and go straight to 18. We played on a Thursday for gods sake and once again there was absolutely NO GROUP waiting behind us. This place is notorious for bad management and obviously we will not be back. Oh by the way we ended up finishing the round in less than four hours so I’m not sure how much faster this place expects you to play after paying good money for a full round. We also tried to talk to a manager afterwards but Taylor, the guy at the register either was a poor manager or he never let us talk to the real manager because he was adamant that 11 to 13 minutes falling behind even though there was no one waiting was fair to deprive us of a full round. Skip this course if possible and go where there are semi-reasonable rangers/ managers that take care of paying customers.

Course was in very nice shape however the sand traps were like hitting off cement paths.
