Chimera Golf Club

Perfect weather. As most fairways have embankments on one side or both, errant drive shots can be forgiven with good roll backs into fairway. Greens were decent overall, some were really good condition. Matched up with good 3 for the day. Couple of small backups.

8 minute tee time intervals caused a 4.5 hour round. No one was playing slow, no groups were breaking off. It was just a packed course. Bluetooth speakers were enabled in every cart so you were forced to listen to the party's music in front or behind you whenever you had 2 groups on a tee box. Wish they would get rid of this particular feature. I'm there to golf, not listen to your music and smell your cigarettes / cigars.

Was charged dbl for jerky when only got one bag $5 and charged $10😡

Fairways were very playable, rough not extremely difficult to play out of. Greens were so so, could use some TLC to improve smooth roll and better read.

Clubhouse should be upgraded tremendously with the area that the golf course is located. No need to nickel and dime with this, SPEND THE MONEY!!!!

Great rate from Golf Now and Chinera is in fabulous shape! Staff was amazing.

Love this course everyone is super nice and accommodating. Really enjoy Slice 19 too the restaurant right connected to the clubhouse.

Course in much better shape than the last time we played. Practice facility was ok but grass was scarce on hitting areas, might as well use mats. Overall fun golf course, generous off the tee. If the greens were faster, that would be this courses defense!

The course was in great shape the grass was green and the greens were rolling smooth! I highly recommend this course lots of sand but a challenge

I booked thru golfnow,and it was prepaid. when I was about tee off with two joined men, club house make pay additional $25 for me to ride alone. I don't it is local rule or not. But it was very unpleasant for sure.

Paid non-resident rate- which was pretty steep. Course was in good shape overall, tee boxes, fairways, and greens - no dry patches to speak of, and greens rolled true (see one issue below). Moderately challenging.

One ridiculous hole - #3 - the whole fairway was dead grass painted green! And sand traps overall had very little sand, so shots had to be played like a chip off hard pan.

As far as off course - the facilities are in mobile home type buildings and need some work. The mens' bathroom was a mess and needs to be renovated. Driving range was mats only and the range itself was not in great shape.

For how much non-resident rates were, I would say the course is a little overpriced due to the facilities and driving range, relative to other courses in the LV area. But if you can get a deal, worth checking out

It was a great day to golf, a little cold but course was in good condition. Pace was actually fair but the group in front of us would play slow on some holes and fast on others.. Not much else to say other than, get a Chimera dog at the turn! Great food!!

The staff here is terrific and the course is in good shape and a fun layout.

I made my reservation on the course's website but that is handled by GOLFNOW.

The resident rate is usually $85 but it was $125 when I made my reservation 5 days prior to play for Super Bowl weekend. 2 days later Chimera pushed out an email saying the rate would be $85.

When I arrived to check in I asked for my rate to be changed per the email but they apologized and said that was handled by GOLFNOW so they could not help me.

Conditions were fantastic. One hole on the front nine had a spray painted fairway but the rest was great.

I snagged a great deal on TeeOff and played for $16 which was an absolute steal. Pricing on the website was $35 which still would have been a great value for conditions and variety that the course offers.

I played in a twosome and we rarely had to wait for the group ahead of us. We never saw anyone behind us either. Finished in 3 hours.
