Wolf at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort

Course was in excellent condition. Only complaint is greens were really fast. Paiute courses get a lot of play so 4.5 to 5 hour rounds are the norm.

Really nice practice facility. all grass, no mats and balls are included with fees.

A little windy but not bad given this part of the valley can have extreme winds.

Course is very well maintained and has very beautiful veiws

I don't want to write positive reviews because it's already hard enough to get a tee time at the local rate.

The conditions are the best in Vegas because they don't have watering restrictions. The layout is the right combination of doglegs, long holes, target practice holes, uphill/downhill holes, and challenging greens to hit. It's neither too easy nor too hard unless you're one of the many seniors who hit from tees meant for single digit handicappers. This course is all about the island green par 3 (hole 15).

There's so much seed/grain in the fairways/greens. The tee boxes are in great condition. The rough is lush green inch thick. The grass range is in great condition. The greens are fast and roll so smooth. Only complaint I would have is the sand could be more powdery instead of grainy, but they have plenty of sand in the bunkers.

Carts had (4) bottles of water - wish they were this generous when I played here in July, especially since there is no shade and no refill stations on the course. Carts had GPS but did not tell you the distance from any tees on this course. Cart GPS was smaller screen, also did not have green slopes. No ball washers, they would give you a wet towel to wash your ball.

It's beautiful. There's nothing better than playing in 70-80 degree heat and looking over a lake with ducks to snow covered mountains in March. There's no airplanes flying over, no homes with barking dogs or blasting music. Everyone driving out here to play is doing so because they are golfers first. The view from the clubhouse restaurant is spectacular.

Absolute best. Wind was blowing hard but that made the challenge. I will definitely come back.

Pete Dye. You will be rewarded with good tee shots, but still have to position your approach shots, or you will be penalized on the greens with difficult 2 putts if you miss your target landing zone. the greens are very quick, I would guess running about 11-12 or even up to 13 on the stimp.

The Iconic 15th hole a replica of the TPC Sawgrass island green is a true test. Overall get out and play the Wolf if you are in the Las Vegas area, It is worth every cent!

Finally got to play Paiute Wolf course. Four of us said it’s one of our favorite courses we’ve ever played. The course is playable but challenging.

Great cause - terrible pace of play! Need effective marshaling to keep pace of play moving - took 5 1/2 hrs for the round - unacceptable

Best public facility in Vegas!! Can get windy but conditions and lay outs of all three courses is second to none! Favorite place to play,, when wind is down more enjoyable but even with wind it’s a great experience!!

Great Golf Course, excellent facilities, golf heaven all three courses!

Great course. There were 2 groups ahead of us playing terribly slow. The worst part, the Marshall was around but he didn’t do anything about it. I am not a fan of 5 hour rounds. The Marshall was not doing his job.

This group of courses is a must play when visiting Las Vegas

Pro shop staff couldn’t find my reservation in their system and said my reservation was cancelled, which it was for the previous day and rebooked for the next day on Golf Now. They were adamant my reservation didn’t exit even though I showed them personally on my phone the booking. The confusion caused needless delay and they said they would accommodate me somehow and were going to send me out as a single behind jam packed foursomes. Arriving at the Wolf first tee I told the starter what happened and he showed me listed on the starting sheet with a threesome who never signed in or showed up. I blasted off as a single behind an incredibly jammed course ahead of me.
