The Classic Club

The Classic Club is a beautiful golf course with a great club house. We played in difficult weather conditions which I’m fine with but slow play due to an 8 some two groups ahead of us is unacceptable! We played 1-12 at a great pace but when we hit 13 everything came to a halt! We waited on every shot until we finished. Why does a course allow one group ruin the experience for everyone behind them? Why don’t the marshals do anything? Sorry Classic Club we won’t be back.

I have played Classic Club many times and it was in the worst condition I've seen.

Everything you would want in a golf course. Top 1% in the world.

Great lay-out. Condition of the golf course was fabulous. Fast greens. No houses surrounding the course which is a plus. Great place to have lunch after golf. It can get windy at this location though.

Had read and heard so many good things when researching courses to play in Palm Springs. We’re here from Minnesota on a guys golf trip. The greens are in very good shape, many of the fairways had a lot of burned out areas and there was no grass at all around the bunkers. We had played Desert Willow fire cliff course the day before and this course does not even come close to that in condition. The course layout is pretty nice but would not play here again, there are too many all of their golf courses we would want to try. I see a lot of reviews with the course condition as excellent, couldn’t disagree more

Great pace of play & conditions

The course was in bad shape. A lot of bare spots in the fareways. Bare ground around sand traps. I was extremely disappointed in the condition of the course. I had played here previously, once in July and the course was in good shape even at that time of year. I brought 3 friends who had never played here before and was not as advertised. I don’t believe it is worth the money at all. We played other courses in the area and the difference was amazing. However the Bellatrix restaurant was wonderful.

Course is in pristine condition. Position relative to some extreme degrees of slope on some fairways is very important. Overall. a course you must experience at least once.

Course was in great shape. Was in 2nd group out at 7:10 in a 3 ball and we were done by 10:35. Wonderful layout. Premium on straight. Greens started a bit slow but rolled very true. Partners played the blue/white combo at 6400ish and I played the blue at 6700. Very fair test as long as you pick the tees to your ability. Great set of par 3s. Will definitely play here again

Classic club is spectacular, the weather can be an issue but if you get it on a good weather day it’s a treat! You will not find nicer, friendlier staff anywhere. Right from the minute we arrived the staff were amazing!!!

Wonderful round. The weather kicked up a nasty wind, but nobody was bailing, so I played. Got a free towel, a 25 dollar food voucher ( used after the round to get half off of an amazing rack of lamb in the grill. Tough round as the wind seemed to be in our faces the entire round, shot pretty well on fiat snd honest layout, but struggled to reach the longer par 4s (I simply failed).

Played as 4some on Monday at 1240p. Finished in 4:15. Tough course with no rough between fairway and water so nothing stops balls from rolling in. Good conditions, with only a few patchy areas on a couple holes. Greens were quite nice. Good value with towel gift and $25 food voucher. Staff was very friendly. Would go back.

Played this course for the first time. If you had the opportunity to play a couple times, I think a 6-12 handicapper could shave off 4-5 strokes. It was pretty calm when I played, but heard it can get difficult when breezy. Great track! Greens we’re running 11-13 on stimp meter. Will be back!
