About
On the Classic Club's scenic landscape, golfers will find a wide variety of trees including olive trees, towering pines, and California pepper, but unlike the many other golf courses in Palm Springs, there isn't a single palm tree. The Classic Club opened in 2006 to much acclaim and has since garnered a following amongst locals and visitors. Formerly a host site for the Bob Hope Classic, the challenging layout has an interesting mix of tour-worthy holes including intimidating par 3s balanced by reachable par-5s and short par-4s. Water hazards come into play on 13 holes. The back nine begins with a memorable stretch of holes. The par-4 10th is a tight driving hole with an elevated green and the 11th hole requires a shot over water. The stretch ends with the par-3 12th, which also plays over water to a well protected green.

Classic
Very nice course. Normally windy but the wind was down a bit an it was a pleasure to play. Plz add combo tees. White is a bit short & blue a bit long. Course was in great shape. Dude in the pro shop had no personality but the rest of the staff was very nice. I understand limited grill & restaurant hours but would have been nice to experience the amenities. Every hole on the course was unique & well-designed. Bring a very good iron game as greens are tough to hit. Par 3s are great.
Beautiful course.
Beautiful course. Lots of water. Immaculate conditions. Very challenging but would recommend for anyone because of its beauty. Pace of play was excellent.
Sunday afternoon with my bride
Was paired with a couple laid back guys. Course in very good condition. Windier the later into the afternoon we got. Had a great time and will return ASAP
Awesome course
First time playing Classic Club! Wow, what a great course. It definitely lives up to the hype. Pretty good pace of play. The course was in excellent condition. Super friendly people on the course and in Pro Shop. Nice amenities and even the Grill for take out food at the turn was very good. A++
Best Course in town!!
From the minute we arrived and talked to the staff we knew that we were coming back to this course before we finished our trip. The course is tough but in great shape. Greens rolled perfectly and fairways are great. There is plenty of trouble but that is golf!

One of my favorites
Classic Club has for years been a favorite course for our group when we come to the desert. The course is in great shape, the Food is excellent, the golf carts are very comfortable, the gift from pro shop is very nice, the greens are fast and true, and the Marshall/starter has a sense of humor and is reasonable.
We will return again and again.
Best in Class
The Classic Club has always done it well, and this round was no exception. We all enjoyed playing here. The carts are the most comfortable anywhere, and you are treated like a member at a private club. An excellent meal was included as well as a nice souvenir towel.
Very nice practice facility so we arrived mid morning, practiced, had lunch/breakfast then as we got ready for our 12:50 time the starter said we could go an hour early. The Marshall was especially nice, and kept close watch on all groups and pace of play.
We will keep coming back as long as the value remains.
