The Classic Club

What truly stood out at Classic Club was the service. Every interaction with their team was excellent and they didn’t miss a step from arrival to departure. Golf course was in great shape with plenty of tee boxes to choose from. Don’t pass this one up!

Plus: The course-layout is cool, most of the staff are very friendly

Minus: An old man in the Pro-Shop was not friendly, as he saw that we booked via GolfNow - we were treated as second class people (on the other hand the second younger guy in the shop was very nice)

Some of the fairways were really burned out.

This course played more like a backed up public course. If this is the TROON experience, I’ll pass.

Even so, the outside helpers and the cart servers were very good.

Finally bit the bullet and it is everything I was told.

Staff was great, cart guys, pro shop, starter and club cleaners. Beverage cart was around several times. Sand, water and ice stations were available. Bathrooms were clean. Can’t think of a single complaint about the course. Range and balls were available as was a short game practice area. Was given a $25 gift certificate good at the restaurant or beverage cart. There was a foursome ahead of us that had significant drinks and were slowing down but the Marshall interceded and they moved along. Played with a delightful couple from Vancouver BC. Yes it’s expensive but worth it. Troon managed.

I was optimistic to play this course. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course was in pretty good condition.

The pace of play was terrible. We ended up waiting for almost every shot. I was told it was because there were so many large groups. A course of this caliber, "Troon" should better manage the pace of play, and know your tee times.

There are too many other courses to play with much better experiences worth repeating.

This course is beautiful!! Water comes into play on 13 of the 18 holes making it very challenging. The outside staff were Superb!! Very helpful and funny and courteous. The pro shop staff were short and dismissive. The restaurant staff the same as the pro shop. However, given the value for the beautiful course we would definitely return.

Wow! Facilities are amazing. The golf course is as good as any in the valley. This is a must play, appreciated the free golf towel and $25 food/beverage certificate. Will be back.

Live in Sun City down the road and

wanted the experience of Classic Club.

So happy I did. Great course but tough for first timer.

Clearly, one of the better public courses around. The greens were true and running fast! Overall, the course was in great shape. The Staff, from the Bag drop, to the Stater, to the Course Marshal, to the drink cart were friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed the course. Very challenging and required a fair amount of thought.

Although the course is a little pricey compared to other course in the Palm Springs area it is certainly worth playing. First class amenities, course was in great condition.

One of the most picturesque courses in the area with spectacular views.

This course is a must play if you don't mind paying the higher cost.

I always love to play this course. It's in great shape and the staff are very friendly. On this occasions we were behind a couple of slow groups, but the player assistants helped things along.

The layout is really nice, with fairways the that are fairly generous. Definitely a second shot course, the greens where perfect.
