The Classic Club

I play a lot. I have to figure out a way to not pay so much.

It was my first time playing this venue. Signed up as a single after reading the excellent reviews, 8:00 am time to beat the heat. Played as a single when the twosome I was paired with didn't show.

Great service, free balls to hit, four bottles of water in the little cooler, two wet towels hanging on the card and carts with GPS to guide you. Played behind a twosome (couple) with a foursome behind. Never needed to pair up since the pace was decent (3:40 to play the round and I never waited long to hit. The course was is pretty good shape considering the crazy temperatures they've been dealing with. A few patched fairways but they were mostly grown in. Greens were in good condition, true and not too fast. Water in play on multiple holes so it can be a test if you're not on your game.

No complaints at all. The beverage cart made the rounds and the snack bar was quick and easy. The main grill was apparently being renovated but it wasn't something i was looking to use, so no issues there. I would recommend it if you're in the area and will probably play again if/when I get back.

First time playing Classic Club. I’m a 8 handicap and found the course in excellent condition from the tee boxes to the fairways to the greens. This is a must play and will look to play this course when we come to Palm Springs in the future

The course is in great shape. Price was right on GolfNow not go wrong with the price.

Staff was awesome they went out of their way to make our experience great!!! A must play!

My initial tee time was 10:30am on this course on a 105 degree day:) I couldn't make it past 6 holes! The Pro Shop was kind enough to schedule me earlier the next day. The course is in the best condition of any course I've played this year. I hate water holes, as visually beautiful and refreshing as they are, and found just about every one of them:) I love the technology telling you distances instead of trying to figure out a new course's markers(though the better ones have them clearly delineated with a red stake or creatively disguised as shrubs or boulders. The cart men are attentive and ingratiating. I received a club cleaning & ride to my car. Also, a complimentary mango-infused, cold & moist towel was offered at the end of my round. Classy! I am not a fan of the new technology that stops you at an indeterminant distance from the greens or tees. You never know your boundaries. We have to suffer because inconsiderate idiots do not know golf etiquette, as evidenced by the traps with footprints and countless divots! Pshaw! Come & enjoy soon! They close for July and August.

First, it’s off season and writing review knowing that. Lot of maintenance going on but very respectful. Greens were well maintained. Only major issue I had was pace of play. We waited minimum of 5 minutes to hit our tee and approach shots each hole. It got worse on back 9 and the group ahead of us (we got to know well because we waited together on numerous tee boxes together waiting to hit) called clubhouse to see if starter could let group ahead to pick up pace which they simply said “no”.

Country Club golf, perfect greens, free goodies like towel and lunch. Highly recommend!

One of my favourite tracks in the desert. Great price from Golf Now. Start early to beat the heat and the wind! Greens were quick.
