About
On the Classic Club's scenic landscape, golfers will find a wide variety of trees including olive trees, towering pines, and California pepper, but unlike the many other golf courses in Palm Springs, there isn't a single palm tree. The Classic Club opened in 2006 to much acclaim and has since garnered a following amongst locals and visitors. Formerly a host site for the Bob Hope Classic, the challenging layout has an interesting mix of tour-worthy holes including intimidating par 3s balanced by reachable par-5s and short par-4s. Water hazards come into play on 13 holes. The back nine begins with a memorable stretch of holes. The par-4 10th is a tight driving hole with an elevated green and the 11th hole requires a shot over water. The stretch ends with the par-3 12th, which also plays over water to a well protected green.

A Great design course.
It’s a perfect course just the price is a bit steep. However, you get a $25.00 voucher to spend on food and a nice embroidery golf towel.
Amazing all around experience
The Classic Club is a beautiful desert oasis! The course has an amazing lay out and is in great condition. Spectacular views of the surrounding mountain ranges from most holes. The Classic Club is a must play!
Beautiful course in great condition
Really enjoyed the course, tough but fun layout. Conditions were excellent, greens fast and smooth. Pace was very good. All the staff I met were very friendly and helpful. A little disappointed that riders weren't allowed, but that was a minor issue. Expensive and worth it
Amazing
This course is perfection. Played 18 with my brother (I'm an 8.6 hcp and he is a 4.5 hcp) and we were both impressed. This may be one of the best courses I've ever played which includes the staff experience. Just so I can throw out some cons, a couple of the bunkers were thin on sand, one of the mowers parked in the landing area on one hole waiting for us to hit, and the toilet paper was thin (lol). We will be playing again tomorrow and if I'd known about their specials we would have played it all week. Must play in PS.

Review
Everything was great except that I was given a $25 voucher and the drink person never came around and when we got finished playing the bar was closed.
Good choice if you can find discount rate
Very nice experience but probably wouldn’t go and pay full price with so many other good options nearby.
Classic
Had a 1:00 tee time. There was a morning tournament that held us back to starting at 1:30. Course was beautiful. Greens were fast. Bunkers were pretty hard. Needed to be raked. Need to know the your shots. Course can challenge you quickly if you let it.
Beautiful Course
This beautiful golf course is not surrounded by houses. it is not like PGA West couses. We had lunch at the restaurant and the food is great.
Got rid of most droppings from the coots etc
The course is VERY playable. And form almost every tee, the home spreads out before you spectacularly it was in excellent condition, and they kept the big crowd moving so we finished in the 15 mins. The bunker sand could use some work but otherwise it's excellent

Great day at the Classic Golf Club, very friendly staff and helpful, course layout is very nice and we had great day to play the wind was a non factor
I would have liked to hang around and enjoyed a beverage but only the high end restaurant was open
