Stoneybrook East Golf Course

Played this course a couple of years and I really did not recognize the course until number 16, which is an impossible hole for an average golfer. That’s when I remembered that I played it. I know summers are rough on golf courses in Florida but most of the round is playing on the hard pan, if you hit the fairway . course was in much better shape a couple of years ago.

Living between here and twin rivers, I'd usually split my playing time. Stoneybrook a little more expensive, but I can get 18 in after work because it's always wide open. TR on the weekends when I have time for the slower pace. Course conditions were usually about the same. That time has passed. Half the greens are gone. Tee boxes are gone. I just can't justify paying more for this anymore. Especially when twin rivers fairways and greens have improved lately as much as stoneybrook has deteriorated. Sad to see.

Bought two hot deals and enjoyed our Monday round until the rain stopped everything on the back nine. The greens are good, fairway has some weeds (but not bad).

This is a great layout course but in poor condition. Greens are not bad. Fairways feels like the rough. The rough is in bad shape too.

Not at all worth your time or money. Terrible course. It has potential but it’s in very bad shape.

Be sure to bring extra balls. Lots of water hazards. But overall a great round for the price.

over the years this course has had its bad conditions but currently it is in good shape...if you have not liked it in the past it might be worth trying again....not a beginner layout and could be tough for short hitters as there are obstacles to carry and some holes ain't short

Great layout. But the course was ridiculously wet could barely get any traction on the fairways there was a bunch of donuts and burnouts done all on the fairways and any green I hit besides a chip the ball would completely plug into the greens super soft and wet. Don’t wear expensive golf shoes here.

The course is struggling due to lack of funding. It could be an amazing course. The layout is great, but needs money to make a difference. They are trying to hold on at this point. Good luck.

Layout is as good a course as you’ll find. Unfortunately the owners refuse to do even minimal maintenance to keep the course in good condition. Staff is awesome. The standard rate is way too high for the condition of the greens. But for the golf now “hot deal” rate I didn’t feel like I was being ripped off.

The course is nice layout but fairways are thin during the summer. Greens are bumpy.

First off I’d like to say first that I enjoy this course and have been here a handful of times now. The layout is good, par 3s are enjoyable and staff is friendly and laid back. After going here many times now I realize there are always the same things I wish would get better. The 1st tee is next to the driving range and there are always balls in the fairways and also makes you realize your chances of getting smacked with a ball are significantly higher. The random balls off the first tee takes away from the start to a beautiful game of golf. Greens are not quite there, always a bumpy patchy ride, sitting water in areas of play that cost me a good bounce in the hole today! If those improved I’d come here more often. Until the next time!
