I understand courses need repairs and seeding. They need to adjust the rate and post why the course was so poor.

I thought I would give it another chance. Umm no!

The course condition is the worst I have seen in a while, played here often and the fairways are getting worse.

I heard this course is getting a full renovation. Good! I last played this course 10 years ago and it has gone way downhill since. The tees, fairways, and greens are average and below average. The rough and everything else is absolutely terrible. For $60 I was expecting better.

Course conditions have improved drastically. Worth the money.

I have nothing negative to say about this course. Its the second time I've played it in a week and thoroughly enjoyed it each time.

Not played here for a while. I remember it being in much better condition than it was today. A lot of tee boxes in poor shape with weeds, patchy, others looked like they may have been reseeded.

A number of greens were in bad shape with patches of no grass at all and some greens really wet.

Having said all that I love the layout of the course and the use of the water. Each hole made you think what yardage you wanted to hit / leave yourself I

Always enjoy playing here. Course was good considering just days after a hurricane. Greens are the highlight of this course but they do need some work. Overall still a great course

I love the layout here. It is challenging. With some TLC this could be a great course. Been saying that for years. No glaring issues, just lots of unaddressed wear and tear.

Pace of play was slow. Lots of "amateur hour" golf and "clangers" (guys with no headcovers) galore.

Fun Day of golf. The course was not crowded and in very good condition, although the sand traps could use some work… not that I spent a lot of time in them.

Course was in much better condition than a few years ago. Greens were good, but a little slow. Fairway were in pretty decent shape. My only complaint was no rakes for sand. Will definitely play again.

This course is far from the unfair reviews I read. It has it's issues, dirt in the bunkers, weeds. But it's mowed down. Some greens had some patches of thin turf in places, but most were as good as anywhere else. They rolled true and accepted shots. You want to play a great layout that's only slightly rough, give SB a shot.
