Stoneybrook East Golf Course
About
Located in Central Florida, Stoneybrook East Golf Course is a championship course that has all the signatures of classic Florida golf courses. Although traditional in design there are some modern elements that lend to the overall challenge of the course. The large fairways are naturally tree-lined and the generous greens are multi-tiered and undulating. The green are also immaculately kept. Preserved wetlands and waterways create hazards that come into play on a few holes. There is also abundant wildlife on the course. Stoneybrook East Golf Course features three sets of tees.

Stoneybrook East
Staff is very friendly, and you get a very nice greeting when you enter the pro shop.
Not an expensive course.
If you like brown, burnt out, dry, hard fairways then you will love this course.
If you like tee boxes that are not maintained so well- welcome home.
If you prefer a course that does not water ANYTHING- this one is for you.
There are a few holes that run beside a residential street. There are no fences, and school children on their way home are walking on the cart path. Had to wait on 2 holes to hit, for fear of hitting a child.
There is no cart service. There are no ball washers.
Obviously, we chose this course for the value, but if you have a choice between this one and a slightly higher priced one- I would recommend the other course.
THE STONE IS BACK
PLAYED HERE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS VERY HAPPY WITH COURSE CONDITIONS GREENS WERE VERY FRIENDLY WELCOME FAIRWAYS NICE WILL RETURN IT HAS RETURNED TO ITS OLD GLORY
In really good condition and a great value.
First time playing here as recommended by a friend. Would definitely come back. Can't speak to Pace of play for a weekend round as it was a weekday and on the slow side. Greens are in really good shape as well as the fairways and tee boxes. You need to be accurate on most of your tee shots. I shot an 80 as a 10 handicap to reference the difficulty level.
$60 for a 5yr old after 3pm when you’re dead….
Ripped off after coming here for the last 13 years… course is dead wide open and you have to pay full rate for kids 5u. 👏👏
Nice Course
A nice, fun course to play. Greens and fairways are quite good as of now. Many of the holes are fairly narrow & challenging - very easy to lose balls if you're not careful. Overall it's a nice place to play. My only gripe is this place could use some ball washers! Particularly in the wetter months where you end up with a lot of muddy & dirty balls, even if you keep them in play, it would be nice to be able to clean them now & then.
First Time Here
Played super early, wet conditions were a bit tough but nothing major, ended up playing through a 3some in front of us and we were off the course by 945.
Tough layout, not too many holes where you can just rip it off the tee box. Greens were in great shape, tons of water to deal with.
Greens are protected on most holes with water and bunkers, GIR is one of the things I found most difficult, but took advantage of the par 5s and 3s, the 4s are tough
stoney is doing great Mike is always there to greet you
stoney is doing great Mike is always there to greet you. Lower the price a bit and you will fill all the tee times for sure. Course is amazing big turn around except one hole par 3 # 7 needs work. Even deer come out to greet you
looking good
In very good shape right now, expanded pro shop...looks like things might be on the upswing here. Let's see if it stays that way!
Worth playing for sure!
Improved but still needs work
The fairways are great. Sandtraps need work on quality. Greens need work as crabgrass growing in multiple spots on all greens.
Great course!
First time there and pleasantly surprised! It was confusing getting a cart and when to head out. Course was in great shape and really enjoyed our round.
Challenging but fun
Challenging course. Holes were spread out and some tees were a couple minutes drive from the previous hole. Water and woods on every hole. So as a player trying to break 100 I lost "a few" balls.
COURSE CONDITIONS: Tee boxes were fine. No problem finding a flat spot to tee off. Fairways were very good. Only one fairway that I can remember had a large dead/patchy spot but with a good drive you're clearing it anyway. A few fairways had low muddy spots but easy enough to avoid. The greens were great. Only a couple had some dead patches around the fringe.
BOTTOM LINE: Fun challenging course. Very good condition. Friendly staff. Very nice pro shop. The guy even remembered it was my birthday and checked in on me as he made a drive around the course. Would definitely play again. Sorry no images.
From bad to good to bad
Great layout but course conditions have deteriorated again
Great course. Been trying to play best ones around for $100
Well worth it. Great layout. Had to hit all the shots.
