Trump National Doral Miami - Red Tiger Course

This course used to be amazing but it’s definitely gone down in quality. I played mid day at 1pm and felt like I could not focus on one hole. If it wasn’t a distraction from the greens keepers it was a distraction from the commotion of other golfers with no course etiquette. I even had two separate occasions where people that worked there were yelling across the green to other staff. Unacceptable for the price paid. Staff used to have the courtesy to at least stop while you were teeing off and then proceed after you would hit. I understand they have a job to do and usually it doesn’t bother me but it felt like there was a distraction on every hole. I had another guy on a par three trying to start his engine on his cart a few times, all we could do was laugh about it. It’s a beautiful course and was always at the top of my list, but I won’t be paying that much money to play there any more.

I never write reviews on anything I just wanted to share my experience because they really let me down.

Superb experience every time I have played. The course is challenging with water on every hole and wicked bunker placement. Staff is fantastic. Recommend the Champions Grill for lunch, great burger

Property is gorgeous and the staff was super friendly. Beware the parking fee: $20 for self park, $40 for valet. Range was mats only. Pace of play was standard.

Course conditions were ok. Fairways and rough were great. Greens looked pretty rough and very slow.

Unfortunately, my day was soured as a piece of my equipment was take off the range. Sad that even in a place like this a small few will ruin it for the large group.

I wouldn’t go back but if you are a Gil Hanse fan and you can’t get a tee time else where, go see his work.

From the conditions, to the layout, to the staff, everything is over-the-top in a Trump-like way. Most accommodating, friendliest staff I’ve experienced on a golf course. Even good players lose a lot of balls on this course with the thick rough and amount of water. Keep multiple eyes on your shots. Watch yours. Watch your buddies’ shots. Carpool to minimize the valet charges (over $30 on Sept. 3).

Course was perfect. Greens are so so pure here. Very tough pin locations. Really appreciate the complimentary bottles of ice water on a hot day it really hits different. Was sad the cafe was already closed when I got there as some of the food and snacks they have are amazing.

Excited to come back

With the exception of the cart path only due to lots of rain the day before it was a great round.

Amazing facility great people everywhere pace of play was great for a Saturday afternoon finished out round at the tiger course in just under 4 hours.

Awesome course and conditions.. would definetly play it again. The $32.00 valet parking or $22.00 self park was a bummer. But I guess it's geared more to the higher tax bracket income golfer. Regardless it was a great expierence for me and will try my best to play Trump National annually.

Excellent course, pace of play very good, layout and conditions excellent. Greens very challenging need to make sure your on the proper side of the flag or possible 3 putt. Thank God I was paired up with a local and helped me a lot with what to avoid. Water in play but course was very manageable for any decent golfer or better. I had a great round for my standards would definetly play this course again.
