An Epic Sunday at Yocha

Course was in top top shape. Greens running true but not crazy fast. Pace was okay for front 9. By 18 there were three groups on the tee box, six carts, and the group in front was hitting glow balls into 18 fairway. Not a marshal in sight the entire Sunday. Needless to say, unfortunately we did not finish. Cart service was good, we saw her come by multiple times. Staff was excellent. Only gripe is the pace of play towards the end of the day on Sunday.

Golfers Paradise

Yocha Dehe is a golfers paradise. The employees greet you with a great attitude and enthusiasm. The golf carts are nice. They came with GPS,, Ice coolers, split screen for those concerned with COVID-19. The seats were made from ostrich skin. We did not take advantage of the amenities even though they were available. The course layout was amazing. The fairways were in great shape, the greens were a little spoty but rolled true. Hole #1 has a great view of the course. The pace of play was better than average that day. A few holes were challenging and long. So far, I’ve played Golfers Choice #1 Yocha and #3 Wilderness in TX. I can say Yocha is number one. If you are ok with a long drive. It’s with it. I HIGHLY recommend playing this course.
