Pinecrest Golf Club

A well designed golf course with forced carries and well placed bunkers. There is some risk/reward shots that can make the course place very difficult. There are some houses on the course but not where you feel that they are on top of you.

This was my first time playing this course. Staff was amazing, clubhouse food and drinks were satisfying...be careful of the birds though! I was teeing off and a bird came out of nowhere and pecked my tray. Haha. Otherwise, group I played with was awesome and we had fun!!! Must play course. True yardage and true greens!

Challenging course with lots of variety, lots of sand and water. Strategic play very important and made much easier with GPS or lots of course knowledge. Good shots rewarded, bad shots punished.

Some tee boxes a bit sparse and hard, good sand, great greens. Excellent challenge overall.

course was in the best shape in I have seen it in sometime. Greens were a little hard considering the rain recently. Great layout and some real challenging holes.

The greens were smooth and fast, areas around the greens were thin and still dormant, difficult to chip from, the layout requires a lot of local knowledge ,I striped a few drives n the middle only to find water coming into the area that you couldn't see from the tee, if I played the blues it probably would have been more enjoyable, I think overall it is a nice course but the design isn't as friendly for a first timer, it was worth the $43 I paid but I won't be back there are many others for the same price that are more enjoyable

My friends and I were coming from Cleveland, so we just picked courses at random and prayed they would be ok. Pinecrest was really a treat to play, and when we go back to Hilton Head it will be the first course that we visit.

The conditions were pristine, and none of the holes are next to each other so it feels like you are the only people on the course. Truly impressed.

Really challenging from the tee, you need to hit your spots.

Great deal on golfnow and worth every penny! Greens, fairways and tee boxes in fantastic shape. It was in such good shape played the next day as well. Highly recommend it. Staff was extremely friendly. Will be back for sure.

Average course at a good price. There are several others that are similar and perhaps nicer. Would not particularly recommend to others - nothing special.

A nice course, in pretty good shape for April. Nice practice facilities. All around good experience.

Golf course was in excellent condition for this time of year. Greens were rolling fast and true. Played course last year and it was the same then. Booked thru Golf Now and price was very good. Would highly recommend this course.

On a positive note, I have played at 14 golf courses recently and Pinecrest has the best greens by far. This course is challenging yet still manageable for the average or higher handicapper golfers. Although there is a lot of water and the greens are protected well by traps, many can be avoided by positioning yourself for your approach shots. I loved it from the blue tee blocks, but if I return this year I would try the black. Unfortunately there were only portapotties (Johnny on the spot) out on the course which would not be to appealing to most woman. The clubhouse, driving range and practice areas were nice. Yes, I would recommend this course to all of my friends.

The greens rolled beautifully the day I played it was rainy so speed was reasonable. I felt the ball went exactly on the line started. The layout was challenging bunker placement was tough. Only issue is some of the tee boxes were in horrible condition but no more than six of them, otherwise the course was in great condition.

My wife and I joined two men and had a very nice round. Challenging layout, sand, water and the greens were in good condition. We moved through the round in a little over four hours with no delay. Good Value and very enjoyable.

The course and all the people there were great but the best part was the people I met and played with.

I think this is the best Brown course. I play it often when i am in Hilton Head. I find that the greens are true. I particularly like the 8th, 9th and 18th holes. I think anyone would enjoy playing this course.
