Really enjoyed the course. The greens were typical for the area and pretty slow. Took about 4 hours to play and we waited on about every shot. Overall a great course

This was a nice course. It was in very good condition and a very good deal.

I played here two times and I enjoyed both of them. Pace of play was a little slow but a group of four let me play through so that more than made up for it. This last time, the greens on a few holes weren't in the best conditions but were acceptable. Overall I would recommend this course as the layout makes for some enjoyable golf!

Course was nice my only concerns were the tee boxes were not real good and it took a long time to finish. One group was really slow in front of us, needed to be sped up

80% of tee boxes and several areas around green were freshly aerated with plugs all around. Greens had been aerated (about 2 weeks ago) and were top dressed. You go on vacation once or twice a year and you want to have fun playing a little golf. You would think they would be courteous enough to tell you that the course was in terrible shape.

Course was in great shape. Some greens were a little bumpy, but all in all, they were pretty good. Enjoyed it.

As an avid golfer, everyone knows that they will play any course with good greens. This was a decent course with a decent lay out. The greens were terrible! I wouldn't bother playing here without calling and checking to see the green condition.

I booked on golf now and got 18 holes for $30 at 9:40 am. It was laid back, wide and forgiving fairways. Course was in great condition.

Nice layout, ok fairways but the greens were the worst I ever played. I was told (after the round) that the greens were punched a few weeks ago, but still, impossible to get a roll on the greens.

No beverage cart but nice excellent staff in the clubhouse.

Last year I played a neighboring GC and just drove past Pinecrest on the way. I happen to ask a fellow golfer about Pinecrest and he had nothing but praise for it. So, this year I made it a point to try Pinecrest out and it did not disappoint. From the tees to the greens everything was great! It is a fun course with many different ways to attack the large guarded greens. The greens had been aerated the week prior so they were still healing and sandy. You have to pick the right angles to approach the greens to either take the sand bunkers or water out of play...which for me often presents a challenge. I have been looking for a GC that I could just have fun on and keep coming back to every year.....I finally found one in Pinecrest GC!!!

The course was great, except for the recent green aeration. Other than that and it was a five star experience.

Layout seems bad, alot of distance between numerous tee boxes.

Of the 4 courses we played down near Hilton Head this week, this was the best. Every hole was beautiful, open enough, but not too open. Only two complaints were that there was a 4-some in front of us who took forever and there was no ranger or anything to move them along. Also they had some junior tournament going on and if our tee time had been 30 minutes later we would have been stuck behind them all day. Beware of this. Other than that, a few greens weren't in perfect condition, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a better conditioned course for the money.

Course is in great shape and enjoys frequent play by locals and visitors. Staff friendly. Greens and fairways exceptional. Pace of play had 4 groups stacked up on more than one hole (ours was the third). Could use a marshal to keep things moving. All in all, we played in four hours, though is could have been much closer to three.
I would recommend this course for its scenic waters and marshes. It is quite open with wide fairways. However, shot placement is the key to staying out of trouble. Lots of fairway bunkers and water to play with.

Good price compared to over priced courses on the island. Good condition and friendly staff.

Great course. Course was in pretty good shape. Pace of play was a little slow. Range could have used a sweep. Became difficult to follow your ball or get an accurate distance of shots due to bouncing off of other balls.

It's was great, the greens were fast and the fairways nicely cut. But we lost our sponge balls in the water.

Our first time here, course conditions great! Loved the course. Wished they had a starter as there was a bit of a backup on the startiing tee with not much directions.
Started out s not congested but smoothed out later on. Didn't use the food or beverage area maybe next time.
Will make this s regular course to play.
