Pinecrest Golf Club

Unlike many of the more reasonably priced courses in the HHI area the fairways here are well over-seeded so in great condition for winter golf. Greens in excellent winter condition, bunkers in pretty good shape as well. This course has an excellent practice facility. If you are looking to play a great course at a fantastic price for the HHI area, make sure you play here and for that matter any of the other Brown Golf Management courses .

Really enjoyed the layout and conditions were great for February. The greens were receptive and putted beautifully. Enjoyed the day with two friends. Would highly recommend the course for an enjoyable round.

There were a few problems. No starter to make sure that groups started in the proper tee time order. The electric golf cart died/malfunctioned at the 7th hole, replacement was handled pretty rapidly. Cart path only play made for a slow round. Many of the bunkers were hard packed sand/mud from the rain with some still having water in them. Fairways and greens were generally in pretty good shape. I would play it again.

Probably my favourite Brown course down here.It had been somewhat wet and it was cart path only which made it more difficult but the greens were perfect and the day was great and the company mas great; what more can we ask for, oh and the price was great , booked on Golfnow.com.

Great mix of holes. Staff very helpful and friendly. Fairways and greens in very good condition. While it is a golf community, the homes don't feel right on top of the course. Very fun to play!

Course was very wet cart path only greens were good fairways uncut because of the rain don't recommend playing this course after a good rain

This is a challenging course that makes great use of the terrain and water hazards to create picturesque drives, risky approach shots and many opportunities for sand play. The ball rolls true on the greens which are fairly sized. I am a high handicapper but I thoroughly enjoyed my round.

I've played this course in better condition , well it is winter time after all. Good deal if you pay hot deal through GolfNow during the both of December... Excellent layouts, always like to play here.

This course was a lot of fun to play. Great condition, fun greens and perfect fairways. It was a bit wet on some holes but other than that, a great course.

I've played this course many times during our winter stay down in Hilton Head and have never, ever seen the course anywhere in such poor condition! Yes it did rain the day before, but not so hard that the course would be that soggy. It was like there were inches and inches of rain and the sprinkler system was left on during the rain. The greens were shaggy and the tees were being over-seeded. If you're a 'mudder', the conditions might not have bothered you, but it just didn't work for me. Normally I really, really enjoy playing here as everything else is great. Check the conditions before you commit. The tees will need 2-3 weeks to fill out.

This course caught me by surprise mostly due to the low price I paid online. The was a definite value for $34.00 and the practice areas were top of the line as well. I enjoyed the course from the first tee to the 18th. The greens and fairways were in excellent shape and the scenery was awesome for a course within a subdivision. You will not be disappointed with course.I will be back!

For late fall the course was in GREAT shape...greens were a little slow but in perfect condition. A few wet spots in shady areas on fairways but not bad (after rain a few days before). Bunkers in good shape... you will enjoy this course...just enough challenges to make it interesting. Great value for $25 a man as a Golf Now Hot Deal!!!

The Course is very nice! The greens are large & in great shape. Took a while to play due to cart path only. Had all night rain & fairways were saturated!
Still a very nice & well maintained Golf course. Will play next time we visit.

Worth the trip. Good value for the money. Played well for women. Ncourse in good condition. The Sunday lunch a Pkeasant surprise and, quite good.

I play in the Bluffton/Hilton Head almost every weekend and this is one of the best courses I have played. Every hole is beautiful and the fairways/greens were perfect. One of the best in the area.

The fairways are a little tight. Greens and tees are in good shape. The fairways were a little sparse in some places. Many places where if you are off the fairway you probably are not going to find your ball. We were in a twosome and there were quite a few twosomes out, and the pace of play was excellent. We were done with 18 in about 3:40. I would definitely play the course again.

Played pinecrest several times and the course was probably a 7/10 today. Several holes were cart path only because of overwatering. Pace of play was a little slow, but the course is so enjoyable that you don't really notice. Very low price and great weather made it hard to pass up. Very helpful staff and great clubhouse restaurant.

The course was great! however from the start the staff were not too attentive. Drop clubs off at bag drop went in and paid went to back could not find clubs they were still at bag drop. Grabbed a cart and was told to go to the other side to get a used cart as those were for a tournament. Went in to get refreshments before play and at the turn both times were ignored by bar staff. Not sure what the issue was this day but not impressed. Glad the course was in good shape otherwise it would have been a bad day.
