Very busy day with lots of golfers. Pace was a little slow and there were no Rangers and not even a starter. No bathrooms on the course-just well hidden porta pots

Large and playable greens. The best winter fairways in the area. No boredom: interesting design. Good and affordable food. Smart pro and the bag boy from Togo charming and funny. Exceptional winter monthly rates. We will return for sure.

Quality layout, good pace of play, not perfect but adequate course condition, very competitive fees. I'll be back. Our group was all single digit handicappers.

2 hour frost delay made our 12:30 tee time1:45, and made the pace of play extremely painful because the first hour players were sent off 1 and 10 and had to be alternated with later tee times. we were only able to play 9 holes, and when did Golfnow double their fees?

i had not played pinecrest in two years. the course has a nice mix of long and short par 3s, 4s, and 5s. some holes have narrow landing areas and some are more forgiving. the greens were in good shape and fairways were a little rough. there was some spray painting of the rough. overall a good value on a cold day.

Overall the course was a good value. I found the greens hard to read and fairly large. They were also fast. Good conditions for this time of the year.
A very large and good practice facility. One of the best I have ever seen. Can work on any part of your game.

Played on February 10 so the weather was a little cold and windy. However, for a February day the course was in amazing shape. And even though it had rained hard the night before the course was pretty day overall. Fairways were beautiful and green and the greens rolled true. I have played several Hilton Head area courses and would rank this course at the very top. There is no doubt I will play this course again!

It is one of the nicer course on Hilton Head for the price. Great condition for winter, compared to others we have played on the island.

Nice course which is well-maintained. The greens were smooth and rolled well. Tee boxes and fairways in great shape. Some of the bunkers could use additional work.

White tees challenge enough for 60 and older players or 8-16 handicaps.Sand traps better than expected after a lot of rain. Fairways can play ball down.
4 hours to play for our foresome

Conditions were great for February 1st. Layout offers everything you could ask for in course design. The par 4's are particularly strong featuring a variety of distances requiring careful club selection. Grill is comfortable offering a great light fare following your round. Staff was very friendly.

The staff is one of the best I have encountered. The course is always in great shape.

Good test of your golfing skills. Challenging but fair.
Weather unusually cool and windy but a good time had by all. Excellent practice facilities and friendly stall.
Good food and friendly bar staff. Had a great time. Great place to "Hang Out" and watch your favorite
sporting event -- Big screen TV's through out dinning and bar area.

Always enjoy playing Pinecrest. Great golf environment and excellent shape for January. Jess in the pro shop is 1st class

Well designed course and very challenging. Really enjoyed it.

Nice golf course, great layout, great value, and friendly staff.

I hate being critical but I am when I have to be. This place has a great look to it when you drive up but when you set foot on the turf you notice an absence of grass and that persists throughout the entire golf course property.

Practice facility is massive which is great. Chpping/pitching areas, putting greens, massive practice tee with ample targets. Practice balls are rough and the lack of turf made it a disappointment.

Golf course was average in terms of layout. I played the tips and did not find it special in any way in fact it was less than due the the lack of grass in the fairways and on the greens.

Greens were not true due to lack of grass density but were firm and very wet/damp yet it had not rained in days. Guessing they are trying to grow some grass?

Course is young for sure so maybe after a few more years of overseeding it will fill in with the right maintenance touch;hope so.

Homes are stacked on top of each other and then set too close to the course for my liking. There are too many other good tracks to play where you are not 15 yards from dogs barking, kids playing, and yes, even a chicken coop on one of the par 4's. Some might find that enjoyable, I don't so it was a "less than" experience for me any my playing partner.

Doubt I'll be back.

Length was average, difficulty average, they stretch the par 3's as most poor designs do to get it over 7000 yards which I find to also be "less than".

Bunkers were in good shape. Cart paths are cut in very close and located in high % landing areas for the slightest of mishit shots so plan on some lost balls due to them squeezing everything in so tight.
